  • Gorgeous scenery working the bowl and wall outside Jerico
I have a new Phi Maestro 2 Light 22 where I am slightly over the mid range.
While we had done well on previous days, today my friend and I were struggling along the rim to the wall. In this raw video section there were lee side and windward side converging to make a rough bit.
I am quite happy with the responsiveness of the wing even when not fully loaded.
The Gopro9 has great image stabilization as demonstrated here on my helmet mount.

I may head to Jerico next winter and wondered what the logistics are in terms of accomadations and roads. Thanks. Looks like a cool wall to fly. I presume that you went windward after that rough patch?
    Thanks!

It's a really pretty place to visit and fly although my impression is that the weather isn't quite as consistent as further south in the valley. We stayed several days working the bowl and wall to the left of launch, then returning to launch and flying the ridge down to La Pintada. Retrieves may be an issue if you land out but along the road there seems to be plenty of rides and motorcycle taxis. We met others that were staying for weeks and they were having a great time; I'm sure you would enjoy it as well. Alternately, you could stay in the larger town of La Pintada which has a bit more services but isn't quite as pretty. Have fun and land softly.
