How to save your flight with patience and insistence

On that day, I arrived low to a tricky place and didn't find any lift there. The air was pretty stable down below. Lost a lot of altitude and needed to give my best for not bombing out in an area with limited landing options. Wait, search, and finally jump into a thermal bubble - this was my solution. A calm mind, patience, and insistence are required in the survival mode. Proximity flying and tight turning skills are important too. I was rewarded by a nice 100+ km triangle with stunning views for my efforts!

I use a simple clamp mount to attach the camera to the carabiner, something like this: www.amazon.com/ULANZI-Monitor-Ballhead-Adapter-Ronin-M/dp/B09C882D4M

I use a visor clip mount to attach my 360 cam to the top of my flight deck. Just peeled back the Velcro on the deck face. It's centered and easy to fold down and out of the way (for launch).

buy a kneepad for mountainbikes and a screw plate for a gopro. Screw the plate on the kneepad...thats all.
Cheap and perfect.
If you have a pod harness, all you need is a magnetic mount.
