She was in China, she participated on a show in China called "Singer" where she performed as a contestant, KZ was in the show too, this Show also had Dimash as a contestant in another season, only top tier performers!

It was in China and gained Jessie a whole new fan base, they loved her.
It was a 13 week competition and Jessie won.
one more comment for you boys this is the TV show "The Singer 2018" Jessie J spent 3 months in China she did 13 covers while there this included 1 trip back to the UK for a medical emergency trouble with her heart before she returned to do the last show which her doctors reamended she skip but she did it anyway and guess what she WON The Singer 2018 ... go figure

Jesse J has heart problems and during this 2018 competition (KZ was also a contestant), she had to take a week off (I think it was and went back to London) as her heart was giving her some big issues. She was not in the upper 5 when this happened and doctors advised her not to go back and finish the show. Against their advice, she went back to the competition, performed "My Heart Will Go On", which she did for herself and for her fans as the song held a new meaning for her after her hospitalization. She said, of that very performance of Celine Dion's big hit, that she felt she would faint a couple of times while singing it. As you may now know, being that you posted this video a few years ago, she did win The Singer 2018!!! She is an incredible lady with a phenomenal voice!!! I've also read that she is a wonderful human being who's very real and down-to-earth!!! I'd never really heard of her until a couple of years ago and learned of her here on YT. She's so inspriational and absolutely doesn't get the credit she deserves as the brilliant singer she is!! Her powerful and beautiful voice simply blows me away!!!!

Well you should know Chinese people are actually very much religious and a huge amount of Christians in the world live in China nowadays 😂 (unless your religion goes against Chinese government, there should be no problem)

Yes you finally got to watch her in Singer 2018 in which she was chosen as the winner of the entire competition. When you first reacted to KZ Tandingan singing Rolling in the Deep, that was also in the same competition. KZ idolizes Jessie J and told Jessie that it was because of her that KZ has been inspired to continue singing after her throat operation.

The show she was on a singing competition in China for already known artists, (which was why KZ was there, she was in the Comp too) Jessie J has been a very established popular artist in the uk and other countries for a while before this but just not so much in the US which is why some were crying at her performance as they are fans

You’re (I hope) unintentionally making fun of the audience & her competitors backstage. The artists are a collection of multi-hyphenate, already A-List singers across all of Asia competing in a competition.
Imagine Whitney Houston, Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, Linda Rondstadt, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, etc etc coming together for a competition, and then someone from Asia coming and blowing them all out of the water.
