Great performance.Growing up in China，I don't know this song,and prince.Jessie j's performance moved me so deep that I thought It should be the best song in the world when i first listened to it. When Prince passed away, I cried and mourned for so long because I would never have the experience of seeing him live. There will never be another artist like him. He was absolutely amazing! But Jessie does a wonderful job at performing this song. She is very underrated.

I love Jessie J. She is fabulous and such a beautiful soul. She once said that when she was growing up and learning to sing, there was a teacher who told her to "shut up with her big voice." That teacher told her that she was too loud when she sang. So, she said when she became a singer she would use her "big voice" to carry her messages. Good for her!
Always love your reactions, Andy...you are so honest emotionally as you watch and give your analysis. This version of Purple Rain has to be a standout of all the covers ever done of this iconic song. Oh to have been there for that performance!

I listened this performance 2 years ago, I got goosebumps. I have to say, from the middle of the song, Prince is standing next to her and perform with her passion. I love this song so much from that point and watch all the reactions related to it, then now I watch it again with you and all of my feeling come back, exactly like the first day. I have to say, the most impressive songs in this show of Jessie J are Killing me softly, Earth song and Purple rain which I will never forget.

I have had the pleasure of seeing Prince live concerts 3 times in the 1980's. 100% best 3 concerts I have ever been to. No one was even close.
