Hello from fort hood Texas! I was born and raised in cherryville. I’m a truck driver in the army and going to drive trucks as a civilian when I finish my contract. These videos are really helpful and I can’t wait to start driving big rigs.
SOMEHOW i got 2 6” twigs, and what looks like white sludge in this little 6 gallon tractor tank. Its plugged up twice now im just going to clean it. Thanks for the vid
I'm assuming there isn't a drain plug on the tanks? My 387 has drain plugs and I just drained the sludge out than washed the tanks out Now I use this product called Killem fuel treatment Great video. Stay safe.
I have the same truck & problem. Transferred the diesel out. it left the same trough of dark sludge. Have you though of another way to get it out without removing the tank? Would the sludge drain out of the drain holes on the bottom? I to tried to use the drain wholes. It won't drain out. Is there a way to flush it out the drain wholes. Thx 4 the vid. No others dealt with this problem but you!
Excellent video Sir! What kind of fuel pump is that? And what is your set up please? I want to do the same,I'm getting black gritty sentiment and sludge, and the fuel is black color, I'm changing fuel filters often, sometimes, pouring out and flushing the primary filter and then reinstalling. Someone said it could be something going on in side of the motor 1992 Cat 3406 b model. I've owned the truck since 1996.
It’s so cool to see that Zack Brown is just a regular joe. Thanks for the info Zack.
MySpace Tom its you!!!

What camera you using? Quality is amazing
Power service clean diesel additive and the power service grey bottle. 7 months from black inside of tanks to super clean
How often did you put it in the tanks ?
So just pull the tank and dont bother with pumps and filters? Got it. Thanks man
I got the same problem. Getting ready to take off the tanks.
Does the engine pull fuel from both tanks evenly? Or does it have a primary and secondary?
