I've done the same thing with my buddy's timber. It flies so well that you get too comfortable until you are too low too slow and turn too sharp and you're in a spin. A harder plane to fly won't have me doing that because I'll actually be more focused ironically.
Did you do any stall tests prior to this stall? It looks like it had an elevator stall. or the elevator gave ot on one side. I've had my elevator break in half with a high G pull out from a dive. The plastic coupler broke. I was able to save it flying with full left rudder and left aileron to land it. I got super lucky. It was the plastic coupler that couples the two halves together. It slipped out of mine due to being cracked.
No, no tests, no problems with stalls either... BUT, after reading your comment, I do remember the the right piece of the rear elevator had come separated. You can see it at 7:40. Maybe your right, maybe it wasn't a stall... Ill have to watch this in more detail once I get home from work. Thanks for spotting this.
all RC has an expiration date, some come earlier than others, boats sink, cars crash, and airplanes fall out of the sky, if this was your first it won't be your last, so grab the glue, put it back together and go have fun.....Thats what it's all about.
AS3X won't save you from a stall-spin. It can make it worse by trying harder to compensate further deepening the stall. Neutralize the inputs and pray you have enough altitude.
well, pilot error put the plane into a stall so somewhat semantics. By far the most common mistake I've seen (and done - countless times) - too much bank too slow, the low wing stalls and it spins in that direction. If you're three mistakes high, usually not a problem. If you're not, get the glue or load the money gun to buy new parts. If you're trying to become a better pilot, odds are you're going to crash. It's just part of the hobby. Last night I fixed a Slow Ultra Stick that I bent in half awhile back doing shenanigans too low. Even floaty birds can bite you...
This happened on my super timber too found out that battery tray lock don’t stay secured it’s on top of esc when you do a simple loop and land push up the lock, battery tray will be loose. Beware
Most ALL stalls I have, I make them happen myself when im doin arco stuff with my other planes. Like others said, "I got to comfortable and let my guard down." Which is true. That day also had around 12mph winds, so that didnt help any. I dont really like to fly in anything above 8.
I agree... Have the night timber and like you said, fly's almost like a glider compared to the super... That's what I wanted with the super was a casual flyer... but one loop wont hurt right? 😆
I've done the same thing on a regular timber regardless of aircraft if you are too slow and stall with a wing dipped down it's gonna want to spin. The issue is actually the plane flies so well you don't really see any signs of instability until its over the edge already
I do apologize... When weather drops from 90 to 50 in a day... People here tend to get whats called, "The Sniffles". But hey, next time ill just let it run into my mouth and slurp it up for ya. I'm sure that will sound better. Or I can just blow snot rockets, whatever you prefer.
Chin up bro, happens to all of us.
Happens to the best of us
When you least expect. Looks very repairable.
Sadly, not so much... Cracked/bent motor mount. Front part of the fuselage was totally destroyed. It is what is.
The, “yeah no shit it did end” had me on the floor 🤣

Another comment bellow says bout the same thing, So true!

Happens to me every time I try to do something too damned low. Sorry for your loss there.
Chin up. Bottle of glue. And back at it.
Well screw it fly crash repair repeat its part of the fun on another note what camera and settings do you film with looked nice
Yup, thats right... Gopro hero 12, with a preset profile. Pretty much 1080p, wide angle, at 120fps.
@ happy flying 👍
THAT WAS NOT A STALL !!!!!! JUST PILOT ERROR!!!!!!!!
It was a stall driver !!! I probably crashed six planes getting cocky. It’s all part of it.

It was a stall. We can’t all be perfect like you and never crash so pilot error is all part of learning.

Thanks for the advice! 👍
I have had many stalls with the super duper timber , I have saved every one , mostly luck , mostly doing stupid stuff in moderate to heavy winds
Most ALL stalls I have, I make them happen myself when im doin arco stuff with my other planes. Like others said, "I got to comfortable and let my guard down." Which is true. That day also had around 12mph winds, so that didnt help any. I dont really like to fly in anything above 8.
Yep.. Done that too.. It doesn't fly like the lighter TT 1.5 or Evo... She will stall... Fun plane, but has a bad habit that will bite.... Sorry....

Sorry to see this as well - Awesome looking plane but this seems to happen to the best of them. Good luck in your repair...
like the (night) timber X ?
@@Jackson27mc Oh ya! The night timber is a very smooth, or a nice acro plane to fly.
Sucks man we've all been there.
Wing tip stall that low only place is down
Good job, This is hard to make this plane into stall .
Sad for you
Wasn't a stall, accept it was your fault otherwise you'll never advance
How did you manage to crash the easiest ever plane to fly? Dude!
stupid mistake thats how 🙄
because the hard planes force you to keep close attention the easiest plane to fly is the easiest to crash because you let your guard down
@@ghostrunner2138 SO true!
@@ghostrunner2138 good answer!
Remove the SLATS the plane will fly far better. Poor design
use a hanky before making a video with sound

It could have been a stall but I'd bet your elevator broke or came disconnected. Timbers in general won't just stall and spin like that.
