The Compton's Cafeteria Riot was dramatized in the 2019 TV reboot of "Tales of the City." I've suggested before watching the 1919 German silent film "Different from the Others," which demonstrates the roots of the 1920s activism described in the Billy Porter video. Sadly a chunk of that movie is now lost, and the restoration uses stills to describe the missing scenes, but what remains is incredibly important. Please make it a Pride Month special! Best, Cliff.
Gerber Hart Library and Archives in Chicago is named (in part) for Henry Gerber. Pearl Hart (the other half of the name) was an awesome lesbian lawyer whose career lasted over 50 years
And of course, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence are still around, strong as ever, and still doing phenomenal work.
Right around the time of _POSE_ season 3, FX put together a miniseries called _PRIDE_ which takes a look at LGBT history specifically from the viewpoint of lesbians and trans people.queer communities of color. It's available on Hulu in the US, but I'm not sure of its international availability. There's actually the real-life retelling of a story fictionalized in _Fallow Travelers_ as well as general coverage of the Lavender Scare and the ways in which LGBTQ+ folks managed to make lives for themselves during that era.

I beg both of you, I need to see you getting to know the Thai LGBTQIAP+ series! Please. There is a list of various types of series with all kinds of genres to watch, many right here on RUclips on the channel of the producer called GMMTV. I highly recommend them. My favorites are: Last Twilight, The Eclipse, Moonlight Chicken, Wandee Goodday...
Oh, I didn't imagine to find a fan of Thai BL here, and yes, I would love to see them watching one too. They're better than Western series.

I always watch a few documentaries during this month of history and celebrations to re-ground myself in the fight and struggle that has happened to get us here. I wonder what queer moments of history and media we should be learning from the UK. I love the conversation and reflection from you all but what should those of us outside of the UK know about things that happened either in the Commonwealth nations or Great Britain's nations that might have influenced us in the US?

Despite most people hating the movie, I kind of loved Billy as the fairy godmother in Nicholas Galitzine's Cinderella. (I would not hate a reaction of that movie from you 😂)
