250gm Arhar (yellow lentil)
Chickpeas split 50 g
Water 1L
Turmeric, red chilli 1/2 tsp each+ salt
Cook in cooker
2tsp oil+1 tsp jeera+ 1/2 tsp garlic+2 chopped chillis+ 2 chopped onions
After onions brown add 2 tomatoes + salt
Then coriander, chilli, cumin powder 1/2 tsp each
Add dal
Garam masal, kasuri methi, dhania
For final tadka
In 2 tsp ghee add
Two red chillis, chopped garlic,
1/2 tsp Asafoetido(hing), 1/2 kashmiri mirch
