Actually he’s funnier in English than he’s in Portuguese. At least in English you can laugh at his pronunciation errors, while in Portuguese we can even understand what he’s talking about.

Aqui no RUclips tem os shows dele antigos e ele sempre teve esse jeito e losrira mais retraído.
O primeiro especial de comédia que assisti na vida, foi do Rafinha. Sendo assim, acompanho desde o início,e tenho certeza que o jeito de fazer comédia em português e em inglês é exatamente igual. Não é timidez, e sim o timing dele que é mais lento, oq se encaixou perfeitamente em inglês para que todos tenham tempo de processar as piadas. Esse negócio de "ain ele é mais engraçado em inglês do que em português" é claramente de pessoas que não entendiam o humor dele e criticavam sem ao menos acompanhar. A verdade é que o cara é foda em ambas as línguas,e agora aqueles que criticavam estão finalmente caindo em si, se rendendo e reconhecendo o talento incrível que ele tem 🤷🏻♂️

Rafinha was one of the pioneers of stand-up comedy in Brazil, and he did everything he could here in Brazil, such as movies, television shows, huge live performances, etc.
He is now trying to further expand his career with this enormous challenge of doing stand-up in the United States, where this type of comedy originated. I truly hope you guys treat him well.

Acho que provavelmente é pq ele tá há uns 3 anos trabalhando nesses 11 minutos. E tb pq quando vc tá se apresentando pra um público novo, num país novo, faz sentido vc misturar vários temas diversos, mesmo numa apresentação curta.

Eu to chocada que ele é genuinamente engraçado em inglês. Nunca consegui achar graça das piadas dele em português, mas com esse vídeo eu gargalhei o tempo todo. Muito bom de verdade!
Talvez seja o fato de um brasileiro estar fazendo estrangeiros rirem. Mas posso te afirmar que o o jeito, as paradinhas na fala e até as piadas são as mesmas.

Aqui o humor dele tá inteligente, ele tá falando de situações, fatos, percepções culturais, estereótipos, mas não tá fazendo chacota de indivíduos e nem sendo agressivo. Fora que a maior parte das vezes nessas piadas que vi ele fazendo em inglês, ele faz graça dele mesmo, uma coisa que não rola muito quando ele fala em português.

Não, ele não é engraçado em língua nenhuma... Ele é fraco em qualquer língua. O inglês dele ainda está péssimo. Vocabulário até razoável, mas uma pronúncia péssima!! A piada do Chewbacca até que foi boazinha.

Ele é fraco, os shows dele são um fracasso, mas ele tá vive do o sonho dele de fazer stand up pra ninguém, lá nos estados unidos (ou pra brasileiros verem no youtube). Os donos das cada sempre precisam de uns fillers pra fazer hora até a atração principal, que no caso, é ele.
