My brother took going to jail really badly. He refused all offers of food and drink, spat and swore at anyone who came near him, and smeared the walls with his own feces. After that, we never played Monopoly with him again.

Yeah, that's a good comment, alright, Yom.
I've actually tried to be a good person during much of my life, although I have met a few good people over the years (very few, sadly). But it does get hard, especially when people don't _want_ you to be a good person, mostly they just want you to play the role as an evil psychopath, even if you can explain to them that it is possible to do good deeds and to want to be a positive contributor to society even if you are a psychopath. They just don't want to hear it.
And I've found out that when somebody who sticks to a behavior of integrity and keeps trying to have a good influence upon kids and teens and their surroundings in general, people feel offended because they feel you're trying to show them that _they_ are no good, and that makes them aggressive because who am I to behave like a saint and make them look bad. I noticed this long before I was diagnosed as a psychopath, before I had killed anyone or committed other crimes and went to prison, so... well, I've always been good at reading people, and sometimes I'm wrong, of course, but I'm still certain that I'm right about this.
Why people generally can't imagine that someone doesn't have any other motives for being a good person than simply to be a good person, that is something I still don't understand fully. It's a bit the same way that I don't understand that people believe there are people who have killed one or more persons, in prison or elsewhere, but if somebody they know tells them they have killed one or more persons, they don't believe you. I've never really been able to understand why it's so difficult to understand that unusual things can occur in people's own social circle, township or whatever.

@GuildBankLooter Exactly,Good people get used like doormats at the end of the day.
You have to be cold blooded, and take what you want in this world, you have to willing to be violent too.
If you want to be a good person...
Then just know that one day your going to get cheated on by your girl.
Just know that you won't always get the job.
Just know that you will always be a doormat to everyone else in this world.
There's good people in this world, but the world is full of savages.
      You pick your poison.

      @richardsolomon5375 4 года назад +16

@DJ Maier your damn right, all we have to do is segregate everyone by race, gang, and association. Then withhold all mail and visitation. Hire private contractors for all the food and laundry, and randomly screen everyone and everything with xray, dogs, physical search. Then pass laws allowing for the summary execution (that means no trial cause no one has time for all that)of anyone who gets caught with contraband worse than booze, and any attacks on staff. You might curtail the violence rate at that point, but probably not that much.

It's good to be strong.. cause you never know what will happen in there.. ya need to be in shape. BUT.. it's not everything. I saw a HUGE guy .. and i mean fucking gigantic and muscle bound.. get destroyed by a guy that was probably 5 " shorter and 70 lbs lighter. Happened right in front of me . The big guy thought he held the keys.. that's a term for pod boss of your race. Everybody was intimedated because the guy just looked like he could smash you like Hulk smashed Loki. He said something to the smaller guy and i heard the smaller guy say"You don't give me orders. fuck you' then Thanos leaned over him to try and scare him i guess and the little guy hit him so hard and fast i swear it echoed of the tile walls. On my life the thanoses nose was ripped half way off. it was hanging on by a nostril and you could fucking see his NOSE HOLE . Like looking at a skulls nose whole. Afterwards the big guy had lost such respect for being all talk the entire pod rolled him out. He had to request to leave or his health was in jeapordy. It was crazy.

Unfortunately my dad and mom were both incarcerated at one time in my life as well. I lived out in Montrose CA. and my dad had warrants in IN at the time for DWI and was arrested in CA drunk driving and IN extradited him back here for the warrants but anyway my family has a history of addiction and some legal issues. I just wanted to thank you for sharing the hope and being so honest. I think it’s wonderful that you are now being of service to others thru treatment, no better way to be humble and show gratitude in my opinion. My brother is finally for the first time since he was a Juvinile no longer on paper and he is not behind bars, he isn’t a free man though. He is a prisoner to drugs, it’s a loss of freedom like no other! The grips of addiction and the shame and struggles that come with it are pure hell that are indescribable, unless you have lived it or watch someone you love suffer it you will never know what heroin and many other drugs will do to your life. I will be trying to turn my brother on to your vids. Thanks a lot.

Being in a job that you fucking hate but you are "tough" enough to keep waking up every morning and go to work because you have a family that is relying on your income. Most criminals may be street "tough" but they aren't tough enough to say no to drugs, alcohol or commit a crime for money because they can't hold down a job.

He was recovering from a quadruple bypass and some small strokes. Everyone turned their backs on him after his punishment was dealt, except for myself & my mom (40+ years divorced). He was a sick old man, I spent many hours on the phone with prison staff, making my dad safe. He was beaten, poisoned, extorted & more. He went into liver failure, the prison Hospice program is AMAZING. He was transferred to a local hospital, and was surrounded by his family when he took his last breath. There were 2 plain clothes officers in the room at all times, but they left about an hour before he passed to give us privacy. So much more to the story, but Prison is no fucking joke. Truthful, no fabrication, and just straight up honesty. This is a great channel if you are looking for this. Such things are rare these days on RUclips and in the world. I've never been in a penitentiary, but have known some that have and it's a horrible place. And yes, when you're in there they don't care who you are either.

I spent three days in county Martinez Co Co county jail as a 20 year old. I had been arrested a few times but never really spent more than overnight in a department holding cell. I was skinny from doing drugs. About 6'3 and 185 pounds. 20 pounds off of my high school football playing days. Pretty much sucked up. When I got into the county lockup I saw guys that were comfortable being there. Some guys were locked down 23 hours a day and only let out at midnight for a shower. Guys screaming about hot dates in their cell. I was initially in an open common area with bunks all around. It was so crowded the top tier had a matress every two feet on the floor by the railing. A couple of woods were drinking smuggled coffee by their bunk and told me there was something on the toilet for me. They seemed cool and to be looking out for me. I went in the bathroom and there was a rolled cigarette of bugler tobacco on the rim of the shitter. I I didn't trust it enough to take a drag. I thanked them anyway kinda pretending I had taken a few drags. That night I slept on the top bunk and barely slept. I slept on my back with my arms locked at my sides over my blanket. I saw a big black dude beat the shit out of a smaller white kid on the next bunk. This big dude was farting all night. Next morning I got shackled with two other guys in a string for transfer to Richmond Co Co county jail. Myself and two black dudes chained and on one side of the white Sherrif's dept bus. 30 minute ride to Richmond and then offloaded. Richmond was like a country club compared to Martinez. I got out the next day and never went back. That one experience was enough for me to know that I didn't want to have to adapt to that environment. I like the honesty of these videos and the message.

Clayton Holmes I’ve been in for 10 days total. I feel it, never want to spend any more time let alone 6 months or years sentences. That’s crazy

Clayton Holmes you’re right. West county in Richmond is a cake walk compared to Martinez. I was a heroin addict and robbed a bank with a note in Hayward, as a 21 year old. I went to alameda county jail (Santa Rita) and detoxed for weeks, never slept. I was in 22 east which is max security. Ended up getting 2 years with half time. So did 1 year

Perpetrators of atrocities suffer among the worst PTSD. Simply witnessing something outside normative behavior is enough, whether you're even involved or not. But research seems to show that the closer you are to it, the worse it is.
Being a sociopath is likely the only immunity. But there's nothing glorious about being sociopathic, it's like living life stuck in greyscale, you'd miss out on so much of what makes life worth living.

I think prisons should be ran like juvy centers meaning there should be a way to keep people busy even learning computer skills all day or books or prepare people for the future they will be faced with. They throw computers away after a year in schools and hospitals and should be donated to prisons instead and let them use there brains for the good and not sitting around looking for the next thing to do negative

I appreciate you brother, I was mixed up as a kid needing a father figure and turned to gangs feeling safe until I seen where my life was going so I left everything and left with a friend that asked me to go with him for a better life in w.a. i'm from Houston Texas. Most of my friends are gone now.
