I agree! I watch other RUclipsrs and think about how they could have edited it a certain way and I really think that’s because phil puts so much time into his editing and never misses the chance to boost a joke with his edits!!

I have in fact declined calls from my therapist on accident so I’m with you there
When I was on the waiting list for a therapist, I had to wait for them to call me for an appointment. This meant that I spent weeks extremely anxious waiting for a phonecall that could happen at any moment, while the idea of phonecalls already scared me. I'd really like to know who came up with that system, because out of all people, therapists really should know better than to expect anxious people to pick up their phones
last summer all my therapy appointments were online so i had to have the camera turned on. first time i pretended my camera didnt work and the second time i froze for 15 minutes from anxiety. i then just stopped going

I am in training right now to become a licensed therapist and I will definitely keep this in mind when scheduling new patients. Would it have worked better if they said they could email you when something was available? Just wondering what would be easiest so I can make sure to not add extra anxiety to the process for future clients!

Definitely see a therapist!!! It for real makes your life so much better. Even if you're like "idk my life is pretty great" I promise you, getting a therapist you jive with will make it 10x better. It's so helpful to have someone whose job it is to just listen to you and help you be the best you that you can be.
It makes some people’s lives better, not the best for everyone. Definitely worth trying but I feel like people try to prescribe therapy too universally

Alternatively, for everyone that can't see a therapist for reasons, read Dan's book! The information and exercises in You Will Get Through This Night are very similar to what my therapist discusses with me. Obviously, my therapist is better at giving support for my specific situation, but Dan's book has taught me a lot of helpful skills to manage my mental health even when I didn't even know I was struggling with those particular issues
@@merrybright5732 it is the best for everyone actually. I am yet to meet one person who put effort into therapy who did not get any benefit back. You just have to find the right therapist and you’ll also have to work with them. I’m not saying it’s easy, but it is definitely possible for everyone to get better with the help of a therapist.

Might defeat the purpose though. A lot of people do that as a form of stress relieve, him filming it and editing it, needing it to look perfect for the camera etc. might make it too anxiety inducing instead of relaxing. I'd like to see a picture of it though.
