- Today we install and review the Tab Performance Zombie slip on mufflers vs the stock Harley Davidson exhaust on my 2022 Road Glide Special. I am very impressed. It is very loud but not too much so. In this video we did some back to back fly bys and revs comparing the two mufflers. Very easy install. Excellent info. Traded in my Lowrider for the Road Glide ST. What a vast improvement in so many ways. Decided on Rinehart Racing slipons for the RG, had TAB on the Lowrider. All good!
I purchased the exact bike Aabout 6 months ago and love it... undecided between the Gunship Grey vs Black... the black eventually won me over. That RG is in a class of its own.... Beautiful with more than enough character 💯🏍💨💨

Do you need a retune after installing them? Plus which sounds better...with or without the baffles?
Bro I have the exact same bike . I used to have that prob but I had the rear shifter added nd it's a bit easier to find neutral. I got chrome wrks 4 1/2 in slipons their nice nd very heavy but I like loud .so I been thinking bout those 50cal w/ zombie baffles for mine. Thanks for the review nd good luck
Went back to TAB 4.5 BAM sticks on my 21 Roadking Special. I did the same straight cut and man it looks great with the stretched bags. Was running Cobra Neighborhater with Fuelmoto jackpot 2-1-2 and it just wasn't as loud as the name should suggest. Now the headers and TABs she sounds and runs freaking awesome! First time on your channel, but digging the content man.

Bad ass and sound sounds like a chill/aggressive style… but perfect
You just need a minor clutch cable adjustment. Also, consider installing a billet shift linkage rod. I ride a 2022 Roadglide Special with Tab performance mufflers, 50 cal. Louvred baffles. Bad to the Bone. I just reached 1100 miles and recently shifted from 4th to 5th at 5000 rpm...crazy fast.

I just ordered the D&D 2-1-2 cat less header…. I can use my factory mufflers but soon I will have the 50 cal with zombie baffles free flowing…… even louder!!!!😈
Lol! “Spend a little money for a lot of sound” I checked on the 50 cals and they’re more expensive than a lot of the name brands that have been around for years.

What brand front and rear turn signals do you have? I like those a lot, the front almost looks like running lights, they're bright!

Yep I hear ya. I put a quart of amsoil 75w140 in my trans and it's a significant difference. I wouldn't go back to the 20w50 if they paid me

Are the zombie baffles, louvered, perforated or a straight pipe as a baffle?
Also is the exit hole on the 5” 2.5” or what?
Basically straight pipe with 2.5 baffle I believe but 5 inch tip

I have the same issue getting into neutral in my 22 road glide. It's definitely not just you!
same my 23 streetglide ST same deal. I have 1k miles on mine and found it easier to go into 2 and down into neutral vs up to neutral
If you shut the bike off first, you can shift into neutral easier.
Yep! My 2021 SGS is the same way. I am better at finding it with the bike on now (at traffic lights) that I have ridden it a bit but it’s not as easy as my old fat boy was. I think a heal shifter would help me find it since that was how I did on the fat boy.

Yes. I like the baffled version better
it is widely accepted that the zombie baffles you lose around 20ft lbs mid range because of the massive backpressure loss on the M8. These with a good tune and a cam and you get the loss back.

Yes
Easiest way to find neutral first time every time... Roll your foot to the left & then using more of the inside of your shoe, click up.... I never miss finding it by using this principle.
