So TAB has done it agin with these amazing Z-Rings! they did it before with their previous slip-ons and COMING SOON are the all new 50 CAL Zombie Rings. From the time I was making this video, TAB has not made them available for the public, but I believe they will be launching them middle of MAY. I definitely enjoy the look and feel of these rings. Yes, you sacrifice a little bit of that deep rumble, but with the integrated torque cone you gain some added torque, and style. Because of the stainless, not polished finish, makes these a lot easier to paint if you want. I got them on my bike and yes, you lose a little bit of sound, but the looks and performance does make up for it. I put them on and had the bike tuned, wish I would have had a tune before I put them on to see how much of a difference they make in torque, but I'm not paying for another tune just to find out!! I like 'em!!

Perfect video. Im kicking around the 50 cals with the Zombie baffles, thought they might be a bit to loud, but I like the growl. NOW this seems perfect, dampens it a bit and STILL looks bad ass...Cant wait to throw them on my CVO Mako Shark Fade. SF
Absolutely! They’re loud when they need to be. Haven’t annoyed my neighbors just yet.
I agree with you on these...lose some sound but gain some torque and style. Sounds good and the style is awesome. And gaining a bit of torque, specially low-mid rpm range is always a plus for a Street Touring/Sport Touring Harley Bagger (unless building a purpose built bike for the Track). Tom M., So. Cal. While the performance (particularly torque) is a primary objective, I actually think they sound better (more refined - less raw) with the Rings / Cones. Thanks for the content.

@@RAIDERWORLD I went ahead and purchased and installed the 50 Cals. They are chrome so I painted the baffle plate using black paint and installed the Rings. They contrast looks good. In your case, I wouldn't paint the baffle end if you are painting the Rings. The contrast would look good. Keep us posted on what you do. Thanks again!

It looks great in the pipes. But I love loudness. When you rode by without them. It sound really Loud. But when you put them in it kind of lower the tune.
For sure. It’s all riders preference, I don’t mind loosing a little bit of sound for a little extra torque
Reversion is what kills power... I assume these inserts are limiting or eliminating reversion, which is why you get more torque. DK Customs sells Thunder Torque inserts, which are designed to do the same thing. I like the look of the Tab inserts better. The DK setup is universal. Another great video :-)
With everything else installed on the bike, I don’t notice any loss of power. Thank you, I really appreciate it 🙏🏽
Much deeper tone... Love them..... I hear. You don't need a tune. If you fit just slip one. Esp on 2021 m8 on up.
I definitely like the sound. I would suggest a tune any time you do modifications. It allows the bike to run better

Cool inserts but I really can't tell the difference because these pipes are realy loud and cool I have the on my road king special 2021 the Deawood green and black out motor with the Rhinehart headers realy cool the video was realy cool and very informative keep riding 😎 and be safe out there

Got the rings, was a bit of a pain in the ass to line up those holes just perfect. Mine was all new to work with as well......FN eh, they look badass and fills that massive void and the sound loss was not very noticeable at all. Even the guys at the Harley shop loved them and the sound. Love your vids, short sweet and to the point without all the fluff. SF

Do you lose any torque when you replace the stock slip ons with the Tab’s? And are you just gaining back what you lose when replacing the stock ones if this applies?

So I have a new 2022 Roadglide Special, which I just purchased your .50 Cals with the Zombie baffles for, and also your 2-1-2 headpipes, neither one yet installed.. Would there be any reason to get or not to get these for my set-up? Any forseen thoughts on potential gains or losses. No other mods on the stock 114.

Not that I know of. Now, these do have a raw finish, so you can use high temp paint, and paint them.

zombie rings sound quieter
You do loose sound sound, but not much. In the end, you gain torque
The Z rings sound like they have a hissing sound. Not a fan.

Do you think it's necessary or recommended to purchase and install Tab Preformance's 2-into-2 headpipes along with their 50 Cal Slip-Ons? Or are the Sip-Ons and Zombie Baffles compatible with the stock pipes? (sorry if that is a dumb question, this is my 1st time considering and buying aftermarket pipes and/or slip-ons). (My bike is a 2022 RoadGlide Special with a 131ci Stage IV)
Never any dumb questions lol. It’s not necessary to purchase the 2-2 head pipes, they just give it an extra pump in power and a custom look. The 50 cals and zombies are absolutely compatible with the Stock head pipes. And with your set-up, they would definitely sound amazing!
What did the seat dyno say to you with the change?
I can tell that the added restriction did provide some torque, but nothing crazy that makes you slide in your seat.

With any video on exhaust, it’s hard to really capture the sound difference. But yes, they do look cool 👍🏽

Freedom of choice, not all exhaust are created equal. Run what you got or choose to others run whatever they choose too..
Note there's a variation of baffles to change whatever you feel like running with. 😭😭
