Travis has gotten SO GOOD at the interview-promotion-CEOing part! But let's not forget the time he left his car in drive to jump out and startle a random person on the street he'd spotted wearing CR merch
@@TimpanistMoth_AyKayEll wait it’s still online?? I keep looking for it but I can never find it because of the content that got pulled. Gotta go look now! Lol
Using runny paint at an angle is sure to be much, much harder than drawing. Adding a mustache to a picture of Vex might actually be something Grog would do. Trinket, however, looks more like a cat than a bear.
Loving the GURPS from Liam there... Such a great off hand comment for the TTRPG nerds, or folks old enough to really remember when GURPS was relatively known.
I know Travis is the CEO, but I never thought he would be the one to pop up in almost all of this videos outside of their own channel lol. If you compare him to how he was 10 years ago and how he is today, he is a very different man haha
To anyone who is intimidated about getting into D&D, the rules are guidelines, not gospel. They even mention it in the first page of the PHB. If the rules get in the way of fun, throw them out.
Being a Creative Director vs Artist are very different things. You can be amazing at coming up with stuff in your head and being able to describe it extremely well, but suck at putting it on paper. Creative is also not limited to art. But also what the channel does, ideas that they can do, how to handle certain things on the channel. It is similar to how most writers/authors don't do their own illustrations and they hire other people to do it for them. (But to be fair, the woman from IGN asked the wrong question.)
@@iceman3317 I mean, creative directors literally have to have experience as a designer as a rule in the industry, so technical skill is pretty essential. Although my original comment was entirely satirical and didn't need a literal response...
that "advice for giving D&D a 2nd chance" question was a good one, and unfortunately all the interviewees didn't take the bait on "oh it's JUST a bad DM" considering they're promoting an animated TV show based on a D&D campaign almost destroyed by a toxic PLAYER. best advice is to have a few RPG game nights that are more light and streamlined to drop in and play like Fiasco, Dread, and even Betrayal At House On The Hill. vibe check EVERYONE before taking on the big bad of a D&D campaign. also start with a specific module before homebrew so that way people have a dedicated understanding of the game before the full theater of the mind homebrew.
@Fnafiac Orion Acaba, he played a character named Tiberius Stormwind in the first bit of c1. He acted very unprofessionally off-screen and he and the cast parted ways. SuperGeekMike has a couple videos about it.
@@Fnafiac along with what the above person said, he also cheated. Rolling dice before he was supposed to. Changing them to certain numbers. He also stole the spotlight from other people. You can say other players did it as well, but none of them were as bad as Orion. And they only do it when it makes sense. There is also a lot of out of game reasons. In the last 10 episodes he was in, you can see the increasing tension between the cast and him.
This was a great idea and all but why would you have the interviewer say she doesn’t like DnD? That’s absolutely bizarre. Surely there was someone else there who either likes DnD or the show or SOMETHING? It’s not like she was there because she’s an artist.
Dont get someone who doesnt like rock to interview a rock band maybe? Or a debate moderator who doesnt like politics? Idk it just distracted for a bit lol.

Travis giving Laura a mustache is hilarious 😂
wow, they really went with the "shiver and quiff" clip in this :D
