  • Montreal's Underground City, officially RÉSO, is a series of interconnected office towers, hotels, shopping centres, residential and commercial complexes, convention halls, universities and performing arts venues. Since it was a rainy day, I start off at the Montreal Central Train Station and then make my way over to the Montreal Eaton Centre.

    Starting by the real cathedral of Montréal, Marie Reine du Monde a republica of St Peter of Rome . The cathedral was built right in the middle of the financial center of Montréal which was once controlled by the english speaking Montréaler. A statement of the power of the Roman Catholic Church by the french Canadians

    This is a place I have been - easy to get lost. It was nice seeing the changes that have been made since I was last there. The underground malls in Montreal are fascinating. As always, thanks for an excellent and informative tour. I hope you're feeling better.

    I'm so glad you were able to explore the Underground City and limited your walks out in the rain. 😃 14:57 This spot is so cool and you get to see the rain through the glass! 😍 I'm really impressed with the Underground City and the holiday decorations, and the train station looks nice! I didn't know about it during my short visit, and I explored mostly aboveground. Nice to know there's a Time Out Market in Montreal. Thank you so much for sharing this walk, AK! 🤗

    • @martinroy7772
      @martinroy7772 22 дня назад

      Umdergroud place is not a mall it is the largest underground complex in the world It is and assembly of corridors to access main downtown buildings ( series of big buildings contains many office ) and yes those corridors are embellish with a lot of services as grocery stores , drugstores, cinemas, hotels, central train station, a few metro stations giving access to Olympic PARC , BELL center (hockey, rock and pop stars performance) and a few university buildings (students across the world come in Montreal ), electronic stores a lot of restaurants and meals lots, many recreation places, museums, congress place (palais des congrès) performing art center music show symphonic orchestra and multi scene place (place des arts) the largest in Canada, and all of that without having to go outside means in rainy days or on winter time go from a far bus, train or metro station to be at your work place always in a warm and protected environment and with all of that mention previously and to build that I think it took more than stupid people, I will take care to teach you that but I will not insult you Have a nice day and welcome to MONTREAL Oh by the way sorry for my bad English I am a French speaking guy.
