Thanks for this video. I think the stock Axial BFG A/T is the perfect size. I wish there were more offerings in that size. The TSL is the smallest of the ProLine XLs. I hate it when my tires rub the body too much.
They're nice tires, but I think as the name implies they're more suited for woodsy areas. Out in my area where it's more rock, the lugs were a bit too soft and tall and folded over rather than gripping. I suspect if you wore the tires down so that the tires lugs are shorter, it should start performing pretty good.
Is the size about the same on the stock Traxxas Canyon trails 1.9 vs the hyrax 1.9? I got the original hyrax not the class 1 sorry big into rc but newb to crawlers
Yup, most of the rigs out there are actually 1/8-1/9 scale. The only true 1/10 scale rigs are the Tamiya CC01/CC02 and the MST CMX/CFX (not the CFX-W which is 1/8 on the box and the same size as the popular rigs)
Good comparison video. Very distinct size difference. I’m in the camp that bigger is better, ha ha. The crawler looks really good.

Glad it helped! I think another tire comparison video is in order soon! You might like the Pitbull Rock Beast 4.45 sized tires (non XL)?
Deep woods are some great tires. The only thing I do not like is the printed white letters on tires(Deep woods).

Everyone from rc crawler on here....nice comparison !
Nice tire comparison. I really like the new Proline km3 mud tires just by looking at them. If I had to get new tires it would be the xl ones.
Yeah, the XL would fit most of trucks out there better. The Class 1 would look pretty sweet for a smaller rig though.
Good comparo...thanks! I REALLY like the scale look of these.
good informative video, just what i was looking for, thanks
🤙
Newt video, cool look at both size tires.. i caught those bronze beadlocks lol. Just bought the same ones myself 👍 look snazzy on my gen8

Hey no problem man! I appreciate you checking the vid out! Now if they can only make a class 1 4.19 BFG Krawler...
awesome comparison brother. cool video.
Thanks, hope to get these tires out on the trail soon!
Exactly what I needed to know. Perfect video. Thanks.
Glad to be able to help!

KM3 and Hyrax class 1 size is 4.19" outer diameter. The Canyon Trails are 4.75" outer diameter like the bigger KM3 and original Hyrax.
Wow. Kinda seems like the 10th scale body is more likely 8th scale

There are a smaller size of those tires?
Pro-line makes them in 4.75" and 4.19". RC4WD might have smaller versions of the KM3. I think they may have a 1.55" 4.0".
Thank you :) I will see if they have them
Good video!
