Stunning.. beautiful build. LR3/4s have great dimensions and would be the basis of the best driving camper ever. I had an lr3 and now have an lr4. Pulling all the rear interior out would be negate it's dual purpose functionality. However if 2nd row seat removal is not too bad I could see me doing a modular package if I could swap it in and out in an hour or so.
greetings from wales like most others i was on the verge of switching off when the intro came on but glad i didn't i have converted a few landrover discoverys to campers and really like the simplicity of your design plus the use of the vehicles own extras and glad to see you haven't spent a fortune on items you may only use once. a great site to watch is lr time they are a couple in germany who love their travels in landrover discovery 3 and 4 happy adventures.
Nice set up on your rover I have a 07 rover lr3 currently building it for overlanding, don't worry negative comments this is your build and way of life 😊
Excellent video! I've had few doubts at the beginning but survived the intro ;) and found a very informative material with lot of great humor! I'm eager to see next videos from your Discovery trips... Greetings from Poland!
Great video! I also just discovered you can open the boot from the inside by holding down both the lock and unlock buttons above the radio. Safe travels!
It's a great little setup that you have there. A very simple approach. Although, just a little heads up regarding those key lock boxes that you, and many people, use. Whichever brand you choose, they all take about 30-60 seconds to get into and your insurance is invalid if you use them and the car gets stolen. Whereas, if you lose the key in the sand your insurance company will still pay out... Go figure 🤷 There are plenty of RUclips videos on the subject. Otherwise, love the simplicity of the setup.
Fyi for those with a D3/D4 Solarscreen make awesome insulating windows covers. Dropped the temp of mine so much when you get in in the morning and it's 30 outside its still cool inside from the night before.
Awesome video guys. We're thinking to make the downsize from a Sprinter to a Disco so this was really cool to see what our options are. Hugely underrated channel, very funny and good editing! Big love from Brighton, UK
Great info guys, i have been fooling around with my 08 discovery and took many trips, but also found the room to be on the low end, really like your ideas. thanks for sharing and i hope you guys have a lot of good times in the LR3. Cheers from Canada

Bonjour très joli véhicule que de beaux voyages en perspective 👍. Une petite question où as tu fait faire tes protections isolants de fenêtre stp ?. Merci bien cordialement.
Great video! you got a new sub :) Question, a 1:16 minutes in, I see the dwaing of the layout, would you mind sharing the drawing and dimensions? I'm in the process of building my LR3 "overlander" and you guys made an awesome layout!
Ok, here's the deal, it's impossible to find any videos of the Hawks Nest rooftop tent. Please make a detailed video showing its features. Also, is this a low-profile aluminum one they have?
Heya mate. Yes this is the low profile hawks nest. I actually would have got the higher one but they didn’t have it in stock. Can’t leave much bedding in ours. Not sure if we’ll get to a video on the tent sorry, got a pretty full on schedule right now. 🤙🏼
Awesome! Best colour. We didn’t really have exact plans. Most was done on the fly with a lot of cardboard templates. We would cut cardboard to fit the space and then use that to shape the ply to fit. ✌🏼
Greetings from freezing cold England. Nice video thanks. I'm thinking of getting a Discovery 3 to adapt like you but I was wondering how long the bed is? I am 6ft (1.83m) tall so not sure there would be enough room lengthways. Cheers anyway.

Ha,ha, ha some Toyota owners trolling ...anyway, I have the same truck and just put the sits down and sleep on a air mattress in the back. Great build though. Does anybody know where to find window covers for a LR3 in the USA ?
Best car I owned until it blew up 1k kms from home. 170k kms full service history and all preventative maintenance done. Never again it's not if but when a LR leaves you stranded
Came for the clickbait, stayed for the car! Great video! :)
Glad you liked it!

You guys crammed so much in to that build. Looks awesome!
Ha cheers mate. Was totally worth getting a copyright strike for. lol
Offroading and overlanding: the perfect blend of adrenaline and tranquility. This video nails it!
0:12 is the best part of the video.

I appreciate the honest clickbait. Very venerable. The build was great too
Nicely done ! Good use of small space. Cozy. All the amenities you need. And yeah, the click-bait and comedy sequence help sell the story.
Thank you! Just enough for life on the road!

Thanks for hanging in there bud!
Awesome! My wife and i drove from jacksonville florida to grand canyon and every place in between and back it was great
Another way to open the tail gate from the inside is to push in the lock & unlock buttons on the dash at the same time.
Yeah cool!

I’m 6ft and can sleep comfortably in the bed. Prob wouldn’t want to be any taller though.
Can you share the website where you bought those project camper insulated window shades?
www.project-camper.de
Great set up! The million $ question though - what length the internal bench has. What height you should be to sleep inside?
I’m 6ft and can fit in comfortably. Moving the passenger seat forward and more upright adds a little extra room.
