- We're back at it! On this episode we are upgrading the stock Husqvarna headlight to this nice aftermarket one. The stock bulb/headlight is VERY dim and in my opinion isn't suitable for practical night riding. We upgrade to this nice headlight available on amazon for a good price! Like and Subscribe for more!

To avoid adding the adapter harness and having even more wiring stuffed in the mask area, you can also just re-pin the connector on the new headlight. Thanks for pointing out the wiring difference. You have DRL and Low Beam mixed up, but it doesn't really matter since they are both on at the same time.
I'm in Ohio too. Have to get one of these. Something like this should be stock especially for the cost of husky and KTM.
This video saved me a lot of time figuring out the wiring harness. I repinned the original one to avoid using the extensions.
Weight wise - the OEM bulb and reflector are 233 grams and this LED unit is 619 grams.
Gotta say bought this light due to this video info stoked gonna go for night ride asap🤙👊 so informative took me 10min best bang for your money
Every cheap after market I’ve tried sucks. I finally broke down and purchased a duals headlight and it is badass!
Just bought this and arrived after 1 week from China.
£62 and can't wait to get it on the 501.

Amazing video, planning to add this and a 250 te fender to my Husqvarna SM 125 2007. Im probably gonna have to do a bit more of wiring work than you had to but looks like It will be worth it! Greetings from Finland🇫🇮
my only concern here is the size of the heatsink next to all the wiring - 62 quid though, wow insane value - cheaper than the bloody uprated bulb for me
i use my fe 450 as a supermoto, driving at night on the stock headlight is so sketchy, high beam seems even worse than low beam aswell, for sure have to get this
I have the same light. It works great except when I turn on the high beam. The DRL turns off. How did you wire the extension wires so this doesn't happen? I didn't even use the extension and just rearranged the wires on the original wire harness. Thanks!
Can anyone tell me if this unit requires DC current or can work with the usual enduro AC current for lights? Thanks

Yeah, I think I would have tested it before even mounting the new headlight to the mask

Did you do a video installing the Hand guard flashers? I bought my 501 used with the same flashers. I noticed on your bike there is that long brown wire coming from the kill switch , my bike also but it connects to a y harness and one side of the wire is empty so I’m trying to figure out what’s supposed to be there

I just picked one up for my 23’ FE350S, hoping it’s a big upgrade.
Looks like a nice piece.
I continue to love it more every day and its holding up wonderful. People need to remember that just because a new bike comes out does not make the old one less capable… thanks for watching! Congrats on the unit
Year and a half later, any issues with this headlight? I just ordered one after my first night ride; absolutely the most garbage stock headlight (low and hi) I've ever seen on a bike... Did you use the adaptor it comes with or make your own for fixing the wiring mismatch?
Still rocking it still loving it. I used the adapter but you could unplug the terminals and swap it around

Not only is the stock 55w light lame.. the bogus headlight assembly sucks.. when you get a bulb you like .. the glare coming from the gap in between the number plate and you display is extremely annoying.. it comes up from below.. I got some memory foam stuff in the gap

Just loosen the adjustment screw on the bottom of the light
