Just rode this during the employee preview night. It is absolutely INSANE! Videos don't do it justice. One of the most intense rides I've ever been on. It's like riding a mechanical bull.
So if I'm one who is kinda chicken when it comes to roller coasters, will this one make me cry? I cried on X2 and won't ever get on that again lol. And full throttle was scary as fuck too. Is this one worse?
Wow, it moves SO much faster in it's new iteration. I miss the old version of it, but this looks insane...can't wait to ride it.
HOLY SH*T RMC!! Airtime so good, you can hear it! That's what I'm talking about. The sound reminds me of El Toro going over it's airtime hills.

I had no idea each train offers two circuits around the track. Interesting. Will it be a worthy replacement for Colossus?
Why does it seem shorter? I know it goes up the hill twice, but all it does is just go around once.

Wicked Cyclone is going to be way better. Sure this is longer, but it is basically the same ride twice and probably more than half the ride is on the lift hill. Plus, throughout there is only two inversions. And seeming how Six Flags Magic Mountain sucks at running more than one train, this probably won't even be racing. Also Wicked Cyclone is more compact giving it a lot of headchopper effects. I think WC may have more airtime as well.

Two trips through the vertical overbank section and two inversions in the entire ride. Doesn't seem all that thrilling to me.

Joe Lucero 16 moments of airtime sounds pretty damn thrilling to me. Only thing I'm not a fan of is how short the duration is after each lift hill because of the design. However based on the theme, style, and complexity, and uniqueness of this ride, it's something I can't complain

Chris Valleser It's not so much about the number of inversions, as I'm an old-school "woodie" guy. I recall when Colossus was built, and was beyond outrageous as woodies go. It simply seems like two short runs, from the lift hills to the end of each run. The one thing that it does have going for it is its speed. that should make up for some of it.

Robert Castor but you're forgetting something... this video started when the train was half way up the blue lift so the extra however long added from the pre lift and the first half of the blue lift wasn't included
