I had their very first album... iron Savior was the name of an ancient Atlantis spaceship tasked with protecting Earth or Atlantis. But while it was away, Atlantis had gone and when the ship returned and didn't find Atlantis it didn't recognize our civilization as descendants of Atlantis (it was guided by a mix of artificial intelligence with human brain from their generals) and started raining destruction on Earth while we tried to figure it out convince it that we were humans and didn't destroy Atlantis... Something like that. It is 20 years i don't read the lyrics of that conceptual algum
Was just reading up on these guys and this album and the previous 2017 "Reforged" album. And basically what happened was this. The band is now on AFM Records, but they started on Noise Records. Those albums went OOP. Due to contractual and legal reasons, they are not allowed to release or remaster those albums, but what they ARE allowed to do is to re-record those songs. So the band has now released two double-CD albums, "Reforged - Riding on Fire" (2017) and "Reforged - Ironbound" (2022) containing re-recorded versions of al, but 9 songs from those first 4 albums.
