- After sitting for about four years, Eldon Scarlett's dream car was finally created. When three different shops unsuccessfully completed his project - and on many occasions left it in worse shape than it had been in - Eldon got smart and contacted Noam Eli of SubyKing Motorsports. Together, the two of them mapped out a solid plan for a complete rebuild and a month later, it was finished.

The grille badge on this is a lowercase "i" for JDM Imprezas. The JDM Legacy badge is two uppercase "L" mirrored top to bottom. For accuracy's sake, this is incorrect on the OBW in the video.
I've got a 95 Legacy Wagon and I'm plan on turning it into a sleeper! I love all Subaru's but every other kid modding their Subaru owns an Impreza. I love my wagon and all of it's benefits. I've been looking for a modded outback for awhile, love the video.
If you plan on doing that then plan on doing a whole engine/drivetrain/tranny swap.

Yeah, total overhaul, I just got a 5 speed 96 Outback so now I don't have to worry about converting my 95 to manual since I sold it.

lol i actually have stock limited paint. :P u jelly? but i need new rims one is bent. and if i dont get a good price for a catylic converter eomeones gonna die, just put a new head gsket in. Oh well love this thing in the snow

it says he swapped in the harness, so my guess is he is running a stock wrx ECU and wiring which makes things a lot more simple when it comes to tuning.. just tough to do is all.
I have a 2001 Subaru legacy wagon also I have a 3.3L you know the rest.
2.2's are just overall stronger. I am in the middle of turbo-ing a 2.2 n/a but I am using 2.5 heads on it. Same car as in the video except its a 97 Legacy GT wagon.

plz ive searched and searched found a lil but not alot of info i have the same car 98 legacy outback stock ok heres my question. can i use parts from the legacy gt im looking for coilovers/ frame bars / projecter headlights / also ? if i install no2 kit will it plug n play or do i need to weld intake or anything like that cuz of the pressure thank you
