I got to thinking about that price. That is more reasonable then to use a helicopter and pilot to do videos. You can use it for many years, you own/company owns it. It is cheaper then new autos! Lol. Keep up your great reviews. Thx.

I dont work for a government agency so nothing yet. As long as they dont lock it down any harder I should be fine. We will see.

They just dropped it to $9600!
I believe that’s because the Autel Evo Max 4T is so good and cheap:
- swappable payload
- EMI-proof
- mm-wave radar (could navigate guy-wires)
- cheap
They might have also gotten back to the drawing board, to add comparable features to that flagship, so that the future Dji M40T would bury the 300 for good.
How far can it fly
I did a range test. If you have the time to check it out
Is this a Good beginner drone?
nope
Id buy one if the camera and payloads were removable like how the m300 or inspire works. As soon as the camera is outdated, so is the drone itself and vice versa. Pretty much these drones only have a 2 year life span which is very lousy.
Go Autel Evo Mac 4T, it has swappable payload, EMI-shielding, mm-wave radar (can navigate through guy-wires), and used to be cheaper (not anymore since last week or so).
But the avionics and flight stability of Dji among quadcopters is unmatched.
Have you had any trouble with the DJI’s geofencing??
Or any places you can’t fly because of the USA ban??
I was thinking of starting a business with this drone. But I may want gov or state contracts. Which DJI is banned by the feds and I see now. Some states are banning foreign drones.
I don’t want to invest in this drone if I can’t use it in certain circumstances.
And I know. No American made drone is comparable to this one.
Any advice??
To be honest I haven’t had any problems taking off anywhere I want unless there is an airport nearby. Which I always know when I’m in that location and just don’t fly. I think just government agencies are banned from using them. From what I’ve heard and learned

Some American made drones have recently come close to the 30t. But still not as good at a similar price.
I can’t decide which way to go.
Both have benefits the other doesn’t.
Weather it’s not having geofencing or having slightly better cameras. Or not having to worry about politics to fly. Idk. 20k is a lot of money to me. But a small amount really to start a business.
