- That’s right, it was my turn to do some solo parenting this week, while Jamie went on a stag!
I love looking after Rupert, but he is a handful on your own.
This is sort of a 24-hours with an 8-month old vlog! From weaning to getting your baby to sleep, how to entertain them and more, I hope you enjoy watching the chaos.
If anyone has any tasty recipe and snack ideas for a baby, I’d love to know them please.
We also crashed a wedding and I may have hovered around the ceremony for a little too long, hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride.
I also talk about mum loneliness and the other side to parenting.

lovely thank you.... you live in a beautiful part of England.... I'm from Sheffield.... close to lovely Derbyshire... but now live in a suburb of Athens Greece .... Rupert is adorable.... my 5 grandchn [ages from 3 yrs to 11 years] will be down from Sweden and England this summer..........
He is so stinkin' cute. What a joy. Enjoy time flies and then they're out on their own.

Hi Jamie and Megan! It is so pleasing to see Rue doing great! These lovely activities you record are very beneficial to you as you 'll get to see Rue's development. He is so smart. Wait until he can speak and tell you a lot of his responses! I love it. It is so inspiring when you are awed of his reactions. Mothers will learn a lot from the ways you respond to your baby especially for his first things. Keep it up!

I definitely think expressing yourself in being lonely, even for a weekend, is something a lot of people experience. I think it is great that you show or talk about stuff that is not all rainbows and flowers. Rupert is something else though - he was cracking me up watching this and made my Sunday morning brighter. He is such a cutie. Thanks for sharing part of your lives.
You did amazing mummy even when you doubt yourself. I know when I work with the under 2’s you literally need eyes in the back of your head. 3 meals a day must be a nightmare but you definitely don’t look old or boring!! I think Roo is so cute with the camera, I can’t believe he is 8months! He definitely looks like he’s teething so those lollies will really help too! I cannot wait to see the wedding melody I love your vlogs but do miss the music & it’s lovely you stopped vlogging & had family time… good for you. 😊

I enjoyed everything with my babies and toddlers but feeding them permanently (and healthy) is quite a challenge...

Greetings from Texas! I was away this weekend for my granddaughter’s graduation and I am just catching up with my favorite family across the pond! Megan you are so right as to how lonely parenting can be ! The time you spend by yourself makes the times together so much sweeter! Rupert is adorable ! I spent the weekend with my 9 month old great grandson and he is just precious ! Hope you have an awesome week . Hugs! 💕

Parenting is the hardest job on the planet, there's no question about that. My very fav part of this vid is hearing how true that is. It's not easy at all, and doing it alone is even harder. It's interesting how speaking truth to the challenge of parenthood is so frowned upon, and so judged. Good on you Megan for speaking your truth!!! If you think about this in terms of taking on a brand new job you've never done, and have no prior experience or knowledge, and you're given no policy and procedure manual how to do it, at eight months you would still be figuring it out and finding your way through it as well. Thinking in those terms, it seems you're in about the right spot with this new parent gig.

I been looking back at your previous episode especally SURPRISE BABY ANNOUNCEMENT. i love looking at clips combine together with a very appropriate song background saying things about the clip. It was really wonderful and touching. You may make one like it with Rue's a day in his life. I know you do have a lot of cute and beautiful clips of him. Just thinking what a pretty vlog that would be!
I love this so much, my little girl is 3 months old and I love watching this. Such a great mom. It is especially wonderful to see that life isn’t that different from across the pond.
I think I am writing this under every single one of youd videos, but as always this was a great vlog😍 I hope one day to be such a good mummy to my children as Megan is and to have such a good and caring husband. Have a lovely Sunday 🌞

When I went through the messy food stage 1 I spent a day steaming,cooking veggies and freezing them in ice cube containers 2 blend Fruita and freeze the same and would have for 2 weeks as for the clothes I used an old dress shirts from hubby and put it on when feeling baby and throw in wash every other day or so ( depending on the mess) so instead of 2 or 3 shirts etc it would be less to launder

Here in America we are going through a baby food shortage and parents are crying everyday worried sick as to how they will feed their babies!! PLEASE BE HAPPY AND THANKFUL YOU CAN FEED YOUR BABY!!!!!

This is NOT click bait. If you are a regular watcher you know that last week they said that Jamie was going away for the weekend and it would be Megan's time alone with Rupert. If you are not a regular watcher, then don't criticize and listen before you soeak. These people are honest and share some of the most wonderful moments in their lives with the rest of us. Megan didn't even have to acknowledge your comment and yet she did.
