I got to see them in Hamilton, Ontario in 2019 with my brother. He died a few months later (sorry, not to get all dark here lol) He didn't know Shonen Knife but LOVED the show. I'm so glad I got to share that with him 🙂
Best all girl band ever. Rock and Roll hall of fame come knocking. A truly gorgeous rock band no matter what your particular genre. Shonen Knife rock like anybody else in the music pantheon.
Last year i was on three shonen knife concerts Here in Germany and they are fantastic ! Naoko , atsuko and risa are so cool and Theke playing was great! Thank you shonen knife and greetings from Germany !
They aren't mainstream enough to be in the HOF, plus, they are often dismissed as being nothing more than a Ramones tribute band (Which, as this song explains, is how they began).
