The Evans worked unbelievably hard to get where they are today. Others believe they are entitled to the same outcome without putting in the work. It's easy to see how those (Discord) people might feel deeply threatened by a worldview at odds with their own and feel the need to silence anyone who disagreed. Simple jealousy doesn't seem enough of a motive to me. In any case it speaks volumes about the "character" of those doing the attack.

When I have been on long passage we have always been told to sleep as much as you can and only fully awake on shift. Fantastic to see the 50 footer doing what it is designed to do. The daily Atlantic updates are great. Also the update on the problems you had was interesting, while I never became unsubscribed, when that was happening, I went back to the start and re-watched all the rebuild episodes. Worth doing to remember how much work you two have put into the boat. Finally, I do have a question for Brett, do you miss flying ? I know the effort and cost it takes to become a commercial pilot, and to leave it behind at such a young age is a heck of a leap.
Love the frequency of posts and the real-time feel. Hopefully it simplifies the editing process and expense as well. The tracker is such a cool addition to the channel for this long crossing! Brett, I'm glad that there is a watch rotation because when you three were still at anchor it looked like Jade and Aiyana would have worn you out with their boundless energy. LOL

Great content as usual. Watching the ocean just brings to mind that you guys are actually sailing over a MASSIVE battleground from not one but two World Wars. The Battle of the Atlantic is one of the longest continuous battles in history. Days like you are experiencing weren't enjoyed because they made it easier for the U Boats to find the convoys. Then just imagine you are crossing the Atlantic in a 50 foot sailboat. Just rewind 150 years and how difficult it was to do that. In the space of two or three average lifetimes think how far we have progressed. Anyway, It really burns my $#$# to think people would do that kind of crap to yall. I found your channel I think right as you were getting the boat (I never watched the stuff where you were doing the school bus or in Hawaii) I can say unequivocally that there isn't any content that I have ever seen thru all of your videos that should annoy ANYBODY or cause ANYBODY heart ache. People are dumb or just have way to much time on their hands. If it helps I never had to resubscribe. Anyway keep up the great content and smiles!!

(If you have no other comment to make that is) I sure wish we had RUclips when I was cruising in the mid '70's. We all picked up work wherever we could to build up the cruising fund for another 6 months or so, then found another job wherever we happened to be... then repeat. To be able to sail, explore, swim, and play while making videos would have been perfect! Of course so would having watermakers, GPS, good roller furlers, dinghies with outboard motors, and all the common things on cruising boats now. I've been subscribed since the beginning and I've never missed one but I check my YT subscription page daily since I watch so many channels. I don't get email notices, that may be one reason some have missed videos?

Hi, Im also in my mid 70’s and have found these kids to be great to watch. Started watching them when they started their rebuilt. I was lucky in my earlier years ( over 25 years ago) to have owned a large sail and over a 8 year period the boat charted 23,000 nautical miles. Our now 25 year old son was born, and our priorities changed. Sold her… for the best reason in the world. Funny… my son has been cheap to support than a 85ft pilot house ketch. :) Nice to see a few older people watching. These two kids have touched my heart strings with their hard work, dedication and drive to enjoy life.
These daily vids are a real treat, they take me straight back to a couple or three decades ago ‘cept you’re getting much better weather than we did.
