@@FT099 I Don't know if you're being sarcastic or what...? Just the afterthought so we all could lern from each other. Post the video explaining dashboard settings... I'm struggling with it. Too lazy to go through the manual😅 Thanks
@@arkadiuszkrupa5620 no, no lol I'm being serious. I should've used both spacers. I was complaining about how it isn't long enough, and there was another spacer perfect for the application 🤣 I'll fix it on my bike when I have a chance. I pinned your comment so others can see and use both spacers. And alright, I will get something together for a dashboard video. Thanks for the suggestion.
I FOUND THAT R&G SHOULD HAVE CREATED A SMALL POST ON THE CROSS BAR AND AN ASSOCIATED HOLE IN THE KNOBS, AS WHEN TORQUING TO 40NM, THE KNOB STARTED TO ROTATE FROM LEVEL AND IT IS DIFFICULT TO HOLD IT STILL. YOU END UP HAVING TO START WITH IT ROTATE COUTNERCLOCKWISE, SO AS YOU TIGHTEN THE 17MM BOLT THE KNOW ROTATES TO THE LEVEL END POINT. YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO USE BOTH THE THIN AND THICK SPACERS TO KEEP THE CROSS MEMBER FROM STRESSING THE CHASSIS.
Thanks for the tutorial, I just ordered these for my 21 Tuono 660 and am going to install them. Can you install without locktight or do you recommend using it?
I think one spacer isn't doing anything. Stressing the frame.
I went for two spacers and gap of few mm between bracket and frame.
Wow, you are a lot smarter than me. Guys, use both spacers lol long one and short one. I will fix my bike. Not sure why I didn't think of this...

You need to use both the big and the small spacer on each bolt, it sits correctly then
Thanks for this vid, I was too lazy to try to figure out the instructions
Thank you. Very clear instructions 👍

Correct. Datum A and B present, Datum C missing 🤭

I recommend loctite.
why didn't you use the Evo Tech like your wheels ?
They will bend the frame when u crash cuz only 1 mount.
@@FT099 really, is this proven?
Every crash is different. But mounting to 1 spot is weaker than mounting to 2 spots. Stress more evenly distributed via 2 spots
@@FT099 I guess mounting 4 evotech would resolve this, 2 on each side.
They are bolts, not screws
which toolkit are you using?
