Thank you so much. I am the only one in my family who has a testimony of the Gospel! The Utah Mormon culture is real! My kids were often excluded from activities because sometimes we weren’t super active in the Church. I’ve never felt like I fit in. During the pandemic I realized it really doesn’t matter what other people think of me. It’s what God thinks of me that counts. So I serve in small ways. I’m waiting on God’s timing for everything thing else. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves me. This is His Church and He wants me to be there! There really are no coincidences! Miracles happen all the time.

The culture is usually a byproduct of the belief itself. If you have a culture that is toxic than you may want to look at how that culture became to be. In Alma it talks about good trees can’t put forth bad fruit. Culture is one of the fruits of the tree. Mormonism is a bad tree producing bad fruit.

Wow - what a great story Morgan! Thank you for sharing your beautiful testimony and example. As you so articulately stated, faith is a choice and results from prayer and strong desire to know truth, and is ultimately confirmed by a spiritual witness that so many of us have experienced.
The hard part is enduring to the end with that faith since it is so easy to be distracted or forget. It's a danger for all of us in today's world, including within the Utah culture where it's easy to become complacent and apathetic. I love Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life since all of us can be found somewhere in that vision. While you have found the iron rod to hold onto, many others are letting go and getting lost as they listen to the voices mocking those who press forward. I love how you pressed forward despite not knowing all the answers. Too many get hung up on a few things they don't understand while ignoring the thousands of evidences that the Church is true and forgetting past spiritual witnesses. Your experience is a perfect example of how someone can gain a testimony.
We are so proud of you and the amazing young woman and mother you have become. We love your family and wish you the best always!

I finished the episode. 🥰 Your neighbors and others were so great, Morgan! Love your story of that huge blessing of gratitude. I know you're both exactly right about loving and respecting. (The second great commandment.) With some married couples, only one spouse goes to the temple or only one likes church meetings. On the gospel library app an anonymous man wrote about his mixed faith marriage and said to think about why you married each other. Remembering what God has done for us is important. And like the Book of Mormon says, I don't know the meaning of all things, but I know that my Savior and my Mother and Father in Heaven love me (1 Nephi 11:17).

I think something we all need to remember is that we are all children of God and we need to figure out the gospel for ourselves. Such an awesome story. I am soo glad you decided to come back. I also wish members judged less, or even not at all. The only one who can judge us is God. I love the hymn "know this that every soul is free" especially the verse that reads "know this that every soul is free, to choose his/her life and what he/she'll be, in all ways be good and kind but never force the human mind." God never will force us to do anything, nor does he ever want to force us. I hope that more people in the gospel feel that the gospel is a choice and not something they have to do. But that it's something they do because they want to. :) This life also is tough, and is a test. :) Such a very moving experience, thank you for sharing. :)

Wonderful testimony! Thanks for sharing. Also the host does a great job! As a person who feels like I am different than most "Utah Mormons" because I am super friendly and loving to all my neighbors, regardless of their church status, I feel like I can comment on this issue. I feel like some sins are "more acceptable" than others. It just made me think that everyone is struggling with something different. Some people struggle with substance abuse, some people struggle with sexual sins, and some people struggle with fear, or pride. They don't want to lose their kids to outside influences or they think that they are better than other people. I'm not saying it's okay, I'm saying we have to have patience with those people too. Like I said I feel like I can say this as a person who has also noticed that some members are less than Christlike to their "neighbors", , but I had to come to the conclusion that this is their problem. It doesn't make it okay, it just means that we have to be as loving and kind with them as we are with other sins. Even if their sin seems to affect us more than other people's sins. I hope this makes sense, and doesnt come off judgemental. That is not my intention. Otherwise, great story, thanks for sharing!

To be all in is a choice as Morgan explained. Interesting how the moment a person comes to the savior with a broken heart, willing to do what ever, he floods right in and the confirmations come. More than ever this needs to be the bases of why a person is living the gospel. At that point, enduring to the end, you won’t be thrown off by the doubters, your now the example.

Oh Morgan! What a gracious and beautiful person you are! I have never watched this podcast before so what are the chances it would be my dearest friend's daughter! I love your parents so much! And I will be eternally grateful for your mother She picked me up every Sunday morning for church as a child. (Her family attended regularly where mine did not). I really grew through that. For me it was that regular attending, which was a vehicle for me to take note of how the spirit would touch me during the sacrament prayers, and listening to heartfelt testimonies. Those were the moments that motivated me to study the scriptures over and over. It's human and the natural person in us that seeks for answers and even think we need proof sometimes, but it's "where" we go for those answers that either fills our hearts or not. Our loving Saviour has restored so many tools for us to give us the best resources for our generation. And I agree with you puts us on specific paths that are designed for our specific journey. I know for me focusing more on what I "DO" know and love about what I learned in the Gospel (and like you said) to just give effort to earnestly try to learn what I am unsure of, is what solidifies my testimony. Thank you for sharing your journey. I'm grateful for your mother that picked me up every Sunday morning and was my childhood and now lifetime friend . And your grandmother that took care of me as my nanny. She was a great teacher and second mother to me! ♥️♥️ ♥️

When you seek answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible, God can't help you because you have turned your back on Him. Therefore this leaves the door open for Satan (II Corinthians 11:14-15) to step into your life with a false christ or prophet "showing you signs and wonders" to lead you away from the real Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity. God Himself warns us about this in MATTHEW 24:23-24 "Then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or There! do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect..."
Mormons teach and believe that their jesus is the brother of Satan, which contradicts what God says in His Bible that Jesus is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.
So Mormons, which Jesus do you believe in?
A). Your jesus of the Book of Mormon who is the brother of Satan.
    OR
B). The Jesus of the Bible who is God the Son 2nd person of the Trinity.

Albert Louie, who seeks answers from the Book of Mormon instead of the Bible? Both books are important. If Pastor Jeff of "Hello Saints" can read the Book of Mormon, so can you. Stop believing everything those who have never read the Book of Mormon say about it. I encourage you to read it cover to cover so you know for yourself what it REALLY teaches.
