I just found your channel. I like the money saving ideas you have for solar. In a tru shtf situation you'll need to make do with what's available.

Loving your videos. I want to set up solar for my new shed tiny house, but I can’t find great videos to show the WHOLE wiring process in the cabin all the way through to the panel set up. Everyone leaves out vital information 😖

ok good it is your job to collect a little from each place and put tougher a full picture its called learning, no one is going to give you a perfect system that will work for you!!!
because it doesn't exist unless you will build it for yourself and if try to copy someone then there system might not have enough power for YOUR needs have way to much power for YOUR needs.
and if you look at other's work as ideas only, and learn some basic electrical laws and equations, then you'll be ready to start to learn, how to build a system for you, you'll have to tools to see what others are doing wrong.
and i don't know what you know, but all the "smart know it all folks" say yes i know and when you actually ask, for the explanation what stands behind what's they know, lets just say the amount gibberish gut someone arrested once or twice ;)
i recommend you start your basic electrical education with the laws of thermodynamics, read about the electromotive force, watts equations, ohm's laws, Maxwell's equations that have to do with magnetic and electrical fields, read about what is EMF, how transformers, electric motors, dynamo's (generators) work and what's the differences between square waves and sine waves, read just one page about frequency's and phase shifting, half a page about how battery's and 5 words about photovoltaic cells (AKA "SOLAR PANELS") if you learn everything on this list you'll be an electrical engineer without experience 100k expense and you can learn all this stuff in 3 mounts on RUclips, good luck

Old school way would be nut an bolt ring terminals together. Wrap alot of E tape around them. It worked for my old 600amp service panels in the factory for over 40 years! & still going strong.

Your “Renology” is actually “RENOGY” - there’s no L in there - just figured I’d help ya out since you said in the last video I watched that you’re trying to grow this channel.. Credibility & competence is step 1 in that process. Great stuff! Thanks.

What size fuse for a 100w 12V solar panel?

Nice job by the way. All these folks paying for name brand metal boxes are getting ripped off in my opinion. Nothing wrong with saving some money if it works and is to code!

I am doing something very similar, but including a din rail with fuses for each wire. My inverter is non isolated, so it needs a fuse on the negative side.
