Unscrew the side screws of the break pedal then get the black piece out from behind the pedal it gives you access to the spring and the rubber stopper. Remove that stopper!
No need to take out the block thats making the brake stiff, just calibrate the force you can apply and save it, so even a little brake will result in 80-100% braking in game.
Its a good wheel, people dont hate it, they hate that Logitech has not innovated in years, and hasnt upgraded much while charging the same or more, especially with other peripherals that have upgraded drive models, and more powerful motors, for similar prices. I love my g920 but Logitech deserves criticism and absolutely needs to upgrade the wheel.
If you’re having fun that’s all that matters For me, I use sim as a tool to improve my drifting irl. Logitech just wasn’t helping anymore so I had to upgrade to direct drive base.
I noticed it really depends on wich game you play it. Recently I bought Assetto Corsa on a PC, I was very impressed with the feedback. It's like you even feel the weight of the car moving around. But on the PS4 with ACC, it's terrible. Even using Google to see how to set-up the wheel, but never have been happy with the feedback it gives. Spinning a lot because just not feeling the car slide, project cars a lot of vibrating. WRC and Dirt Rally were also great games on this wheel.

But even so, if the steering wheel makes you happy, it's perfect. except if you go to competitions, which require a professional steering wheel. Have fun!
It’s a fun wheel… until you drive a DD wheel at 8nm-20nm. It’s not even the same experience. For the average person the 920 is fine, for someone who’s looking for a more realistic experience then start saving for a nice DD setup.

It's a LOT better if you play using the Driver Cam (not cockpit) that's the point in having a wheel.....For the realism and feel !! The G920 is a great set-up, just takes a little tweaking of the settings to get a realistic feeling, which is what you have to do with ALL wheels, so don't listen to the haters as it gives good ffb for the price range !! I've had mine for years now and I still enjoy playing the F1 games and Forza Horizon series with it, along with some other games on my Series-X. All Logitech is great for entry level pricing and is decent for beginners. I myself have recently just got into sim racing with my G923 (my shifter is finally coming in sometime around new years) and I LOOVVVVEEEE IIIITTTT!! I am positive the reason people dislike Logitech wheels is because of 2 main reasons, they got a taste of the better stuff like Fanatec or they paid around $400-$500 instead of less than $300 like most people are getting them for right now as I typed this. $400-$500 felt way to overpriced for the Logitech wheels. I am sure I would feel the same way if I get a taste of the better set ups though.

It’s a decent entry wheel but when it comes to entry level wheels I prefer belt driven wheels and not gear driven wheels because they feel a lot smoother. Like my current setup is a Thrustmaster TMX pro and it doesn’t feel notchy like the G920. Also I don’t like how stiff the brake pedal is on the G920 because that does feel realistic at all
The g920 is great, I’m running one, i have no problem with it, just get a hand brake when you buy one, and I am customizing mine a bit to much black and white for my taste

I’ve had my g920 for like 5 or 6 years and I (as well as my 3 year old son lol) absolutely beat the shit out of that thing and it’s still working like brand new. The driving force shifter or whatever they call it sucks ass but the pedals and wheel base are good enough for those of us who only get 1-2 hours a week to play

A huge hate with it is no shift light, but if y'all could learn to drive a manual, that's not an issue.
I use mine with a drive hub for ps4 and it comes with a shift light and it's great
