Yeah, there is NO wheel that has binds already done for you in EVERY game, and G29 and G923 are one of the most supported wheels.

I recently bought a g923 to play asseto corsa, GT7, and waiting on FM8...im enjoying it alot especially ACC...coming from a G25 about 12 years ago the g923 is definitely a step up.
What did you have before the G923? I have a G29 I believe got it for $180 new, not terrible
My son has a G29 and uses it around 3 hours a day for over two years, runs a league, did 9 hours of the 24 hours of Lemans and everything still works perfect. Some of the leather colouring starting to flake off, but all functions are working fine. Only problem is we are looking into a new DD G Pro wheel that is big money but seems to be the next best wheel.

Just bought a Logitech G Pro DD wheel and pedal set, should be here next week. We did lots of research and guys that have lots of Sim gear are highly recommending it.

@@Starmast3rmusic He got the Logitech G pro wheel and pedals last week and we both love them. Works great, plug and play on PlayStation with no problems. Been hearing some bad things about Fanatec with availability, quick releases breaking, and a lack of warranty support. Would rather pay more than have any problems.

What about the brake firmware, can you make it fully linear? How it normally works is until you get to the rubber it's like 50% brake or something, but when you press through the bumper you get 100% brake, which is not great to control the car.
If the break pedal in your real car isn't acting the same as your gaming pedal on the g923, you need to get new breaks and break fluid really really fast

i know these aren’t the best wheels, but i got a steal on one basically brand new with a stand and H-shifter for $200 altogether, and i mainly play ATS so it’s not like i need some crazy high-level wheel

You said you used it very lightly nothing broke yet you did a review on it and “felt it was gonna break” but never did still was a perfect entry wheel for a budget it is a budget setup btw 200$ on Amazon refurbished what more do you expect
I got it in portugal for 200 euros, my desk had no full suport to lock wheel 100%. In 2 or 3 races i expected wheel to drop 1 or 2 times with no warning. And pedals base just dance around my floor and almost damage the wire against the wall. Now i bought a lovit cockpit 200 euros, and this setup is amazing. Only good to talk about this setup! Worth it!
Could you just use g hub to change the settings on your pc and then connect to the xbox? Will the settings still save?

I bought a t248 and it quit working on me in 2 days due to running max ffb, a lot of people have told me the same thing, does the g920 have this issue?

Trying to decide between G920 (€150) and G923 (€250-€280). I wanna mainly play Dirt 2.0, Forza Motorsport, maybe F1. Happy for any advice.
If your going to use it a significant amount, go for the G923. If you think it will be used a handful of times a year, go for the G920

Surprised you never mentioned about the wheel which can move side to side with flex, due to the plastic backing panel inside attached to a metal panel.

Wow that's a very weird issue to happen twice. How much does it get used? E.g. Days per week
Like not much since i work every weekday so on the weekends for like the past 2 or 3 months which is not even close to enough time I had compared to my g27 that I had for 6 years and I beat the crap out of that one.

This review starts of with the brake. Simple fix is to use the logitech app and adjust the brake and gas for your likings. Then ... this wheel is the absolute best to buy for the low price atm. The force feedback isnt that strong, but i play assetto corsa sonetimes. And man.. that feedback is enough ! Keeps the gaming casual but very very realistic. Ill buy a more heavy duty one in the future, but for now this wheel is the best thing i ever bought.
Just turn the feedback max most people using a higher end wheel turn their feedback down 😂

Also the g923 just plug into the laptop, you don't need a gaming pc to adjust the wheel on the logitech programme, I do the same with my nacon controllers

G920 and g29 are the same just the 29 works only on PlayStation and pc and the 920 works only on Xbox and Pc

G29 is for playstation and g920 is for xbox. Only different platforms, no other difference

the g923 doesnt have a rubber piece in the brake... instead there is just a extremly stiff spring which you can only replace😾

Yeah but for 500$ you can buy a better wheel anyway with serious FFB torque. These G series are the weakest. So you either buy cheaper G29 or go for a better wheel at $500.

Hi , I appreciated all you said...BUT ...the G 923 for Xbox/PC and the gear shifter made in 2023 and this very important, this a diferent beast...all tthe issues previosly with G 920 is fixed , all the buttons are very diferent in a good way and pedals too and for the shifter in 2023 , if you opened , you will see a cheap basic mod allready install ....buy all G 923 and shifter made after february or march 2023 an you will see all diferences ....very important the period when is made , check the date of manufacturing on the box ...!!!

Great entry wheels, very reliable with fantastic compatibility.
If buying second hand be aware how to clean the potentiometers in the pedals.
The elastic band is a mod to use the shifter sequentially and not to ‘stop it ratting’.
One thing I would agree on is don’t spend over 150 on one.

The braking can be adjusted via software by changing the de-acceleration settings. Pretend you have done an ounce of research.

I mean...I can adjust essentially everything he mentioned in FH4 on Xbox One... just go into settings...900° was too much so I tuned down to 540° for example...

The logitech steering wheels are shiy alot of deadzone and the force feadback gives up sometimes mid corner so you feel force and then bam lose steering its unplayebole

G920 is absolute trash. Gas is way too soft, brake is way too hard, the knobs that secure the wheel keep popping up and the wheel is moving around. The force feedback is janky and randomly gives feedback that isn't being displayed on the screen. Going to return after 2 days and try out the Moza 5 bundle.
Bad advice on many levels. Buy a used piece of crap some kid beat the shit out of? Blame wheel because you don't have time to use it? Honestly....ridiculous.

I'd like to get a Thrustmaster T300 (for example) instead of a G29 because the T300 has a belt driven FFB (wich is way better than a gear driven one). However, in my country, these are the prices (brand new btw):
Logitech:
G29: ~363USD
G29 H shifter: ~93USD
G923: ~500USD
Thrustmaster:
T300: ~827USD
TH8A: ~400USD
So we don't really have an option outside the G29/G920.
