- Reading water and understanding how to present and fish your fly in a specific section of water trumps fly selection in many ways. We're excited to continue our "READING WATER" series. As we've done in previous episodes of READING WATER, we will tag along with a skilled and experienced angler who will give us insight into how they approach a specific section of water from all angles - GEAR, RIGGING, FLY CHOICE, SEASONALITY, FLOWS, and the like.
For this episode of READING WATER, we joined our own Tanner Smith as he picks apart a pocket-filled small stream run. Tanner talks through his gear selection, available forage, fly selection, rigging, approach, and a variety of presentations on a productive small stream. From double dries to hopper-dropper, Tanner shows how he prefers to work water when he's fishing in the high alpine. Enjoy in HD.

Those that choose to live like Eunuchs FOR THE SAKE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex characteristics but opposite in regards to gender. Notice, God PREFERS for people to be in LGBT relationships.
Eunuchs are same sex couples. One partner is transgender. Transgender is when someone is born with a gender opposite the sex characteristics normally associated with that gender. God made us male or female, determined by gender, located in the brain.
Your gender is located in your brain and determined at birth. I have an identical twin sister that is female in gender. I am male in gender.
I am Elijah of Malachi 4:5-6 and that means any discrepancies in the bible are ultimately decided by me. Plus, it states in Deuteronomy that nobody was castrated back then. And that doesn't make sense anyhow. No one is born castrated and no one is born making the decision to be celibate. But, that is what God wanted the lying preachers to think so they wouldn't take it out of the bible. Intersex people still have one gender or another because gender is located in your brain.
And Acts 3:22-23 says it will come to pass that anyone that fails to listen to me will be utterly destroyed from among the people. So anyone that says different than this won't be here much longer. It's everyone's choice.

I drove 218 miles for a weekend of getting skunked, I’d be happy to make that drive if I could catch 85 fish in 20 minutes!! Ha ha.
Awesome video. One thing I don’t understand as a new fly angler is all the how to videos on casting tell you to be slower with the forward and back cast so the line can catch up but see these guys whipping the rod back and forth super quick
Seems no one answered, so i'll give it my amateur view. the trick comes down to consistent acceleration to a stop. you're trying to load the rod so it does the work for you. That being said, in this clip you're not worried about that since there's so little line out. When you're fishing close like this, all you're making sure you do is to not whip the line on a backcast and possibly break off the fly. It's all about feel, when you go back you're waiting to feel the line pull on the rod tip, at which point you forward cast. Practice in a park with just a leader on, no fly, to get the feel of it all.
Funny to watch. Yeah….guides are so often held as gods. We ALL miss fish-even stupid ones….and we foul hook in the butthole….and we snag on ….we’ll snags. Guides are great….when they are tying on a dudes fly. Anyone with serious rod time…IS a guide…but without a license. Eh?
