How to Add a Photo to Header or Footer and Make it a Circle in Microsoft Word

- Learn how to insert a photo or picture into the Header & Footer in Word, then crop your image into a circle shape. Whether it's your profile picture, logo, or a stock image, you'll see how to easily add the photo in the Header or Footer section, wrap-text layout options to place it where you want, then crop it into a circle shape without distorting it. Then we adjust the custom margins to ensure the cursor starts below the footer image. This will allow you to save the document as a template that you can use as a letterhead, form, report cover, or any type of graphic document.

Thank you for all the information! Can I add a photo as a header, fit in the entire space, without changing the clarity of the picture?
Hello - when text or images are placed in the header and footer sections in Word, when you close out of the header/footer they appear to "gray out" a bit. However if you were to save the document as a PDF or print it, then the header/footer text or images print as they should (without the dull gray effect). Is that what you are asking? @@SharonSmith Thank you for your reply! I am referring to inserting a photo that is 2" x 2". Is there some way to extend the photo to 7" x 2" without distorting the photo? I tried all the ratios but they are still too small. Thank you again!
