Im sure you coukd prob beat alot of the local boys in a race. Id luv to see that. Tk care. Keep up the good work. Big Bubba
My advice to others is to skip the compressed air. That does very little since hiding it down comes next. Also. Dunk the wash rag way more often when washing down. But good little video. Also. I just sold out DB-17. My son outgrew it and it served its purpose. It got my son riding with a manual clutch. Cheers!!
When I go to the track I rip it through mud and stuff, it gets hella dirty. I just give it a rinse then wait for winter so I can rip through the snow and get it clean. Works great
After a ton of research I bought the DB-X29. I think it’s the same engine as yours, I did have to change the stock carb cause it would not rev past half throttle without bogging, Fun little bikes, Thanks for sharing your videos...
We appreciate you so much... The little things mean so much if you know how to think and how to use the little information to make a big difference in our lives.. . Little things mean so much to us more than we could ever know whether it be now or later on 🤝🤝💯💯💯🧐
It does not appear to have any in the video, but some K&N filter oil on the air filter element will help ensure less dirt and other particles enter the engine via the air intake.
Nice video but the only thing I noticed is that you used an air compressor to get off some to the dirt and if you get that near the berrings in the wheels you will force dirt in them and they will need to be replaced
Problem with using a pressure washer is that you risk getting soap and water into things like wheel bearings, swingarm pivots, electrical/ignition boxes, air filter, intake. This lady is trying to do the job without those things happening. You're better off just using a water hose to rinse at lower pressure.
@@jonneet2126 I've been pressure washing all of my dirt bikes for over 25 years and one of the dirt bikes that I currently own is a 2007 YZ 250f that I purchased new. It's been pressure washed most certainly over 100 times.....Pressure washing is by far both the best way and the easiest way....A low pressure,..pressure washer, along with special care in certain areas by keeping the wand always moving combined with not getting too close to certain areas is all that is required.
@@stricknine8623 i have always pressure washed my dietbikes i once washed my friends tao tao 125 as well as my drz 125 and after the wash even tho we covered his exaust and his air filter the tao tao was bogging down for the next 2 days lol I've never had that happen before out of all of my 7 bikes I've had ranging from 1972 all the way to 3 2020 dirtbikes/ dualsports gota love Chinese lmao😂😂😂
Sorry for the bother, I have a question. Do I need to protect the wires underneath the seat? There are wires that connect the killswitch to the spark plug killer so I don't want any of it to get corroded. Other than that, very informational & easy guided videos :) Subscribed. By the way I just got to the end of the video and noticed how you did the chain lubing, you can put your bike onto a wash tub & spin the wheel as you're spraying you make your life easier :P
Personally I don't cover or protect them. I'm not really concerned about them, but if you would feel better protecting them it probably wouldn't hurt. And yeah putting the bike on a stand would make it easier also taking off the chain guard, but I'm just lazy sometimes lol
6:07 im i the only one who is really triggered bcs of the duck tape in the water and i have pitbike too and i dont seal the components like you i just wash it with power washer and take the filter off (on my model it just comes off when i pull) i shake it to get the water out and start it and all the water from the exhaust comes out( but i dont wash exhaust because it gets dirty again )
The best way to wash your bike is to use a spray wheel cleaner, spray it all over and leave for a couple of minutes then gently jet wash off. It removes all the dirt along with any discolouring from the dirt. Never use a product called Muc Off as it strips the shine off the painted areas.
that is a bit of an overkill, just put the bag over the air filter and its good to go, dont be afraid to spray the bags, i dont even cover the muffler hole because, just dont spray it straight into the hole and even if a few drops still get in, they are going to be blown out when the engine is on. Things you should be mindful are the electronic components, especially if your bike has a battery and a starter, theres a chance of having a short or at least corrosion on the contacts, also your bike is already clean, dont clean it needlessly because it will just corrode, these chinese bikes are made out of iron instead of aluminum and none of the parts are corrosion proof, your chain, bolts and frame weld lines will start to rust first, so cleaning a clean bike isnt the best idea.
I'm 5'2ish myself so if you watch my "height" video you will see exactly how this bike would fit you. ruclips.net/video/IeUIo3NN7sQ/видео.html&lc=z13hudkqkw3ayz5ig04cdjlpxwitghvj2xk0k
chanse williams if you have 2 stroke you have to mix the gas with oil or else it'll mess up your engine a 4 stroke takes regular gas premium regular what ever also 2 strokes have more power but last less
Personally id get the apollo because its cheaper. Its not really a good racing bike like the taotao but its a really good beginner bike and trail bike. I want to get the apollo x29 because im rlly tall for this bike
1day Ent it's a pretty nice bike, I have one myself and I really like it. The shifting pattern is different than the pattern on the taotao. On the apollo it is 4 up, not 1 down 3 up like on the taotao
I just try not to shoot very much of the watter into the muffler when i pressure wash mine, its never done me any bad lol I did pressure was my friends tao tao once tho we taped off the exaust and covered the air filter but even after that it still bogged down for 2 days then it went back to normal lmao gota love Chinese 😂😂

You should use the air compressor before the towel to remover water from hard to reach places! That what I do works really good and saves some time!!!
I have 125cc tao tao db27 its just a updated model of this bike so i can use the same tips from your video and they are the same basically
