I will give him the win on noob saibot and goro, but in mk in deadly alliance the deadly alliance when working together were able beat all of the heroes and even raiden himself so I think he only won that fight because that was his chapter. Still doesn't change the fact that kung lao is a badass and would kick half the people who roasted him in the video's ass

There's savage, and then there's "Kitana talking to Kung Lao" Savage.
Cassie wins with “Liu Kang lite” as it is not only a comeback to his own mocking, but the one that triggers him the most.
Shao kahn wins with "how is your neck kung lao" since unlike the others shao kahn actually killed him so he has the right to roast him. Cassie doesn't deserve to roast kung lao since he would easily beat her unless she activates her mary sue plot armor energy.

I really like the ego and easily triggered kung lao it remind me of shaolin monks i know some people are complaining that that mk11 Got too far with it.... But i think it give him more personality than the pacifict and humble Monk that he was of mk2.
I also think mk11 kung lao is misunderstood he is not jealous of Liu kang nor want to be better than him..he just want people to see him as his partner/brother and equal like Liu kang does....its not a Goku vegeta situation but ryu and ken one.
In MK2 he had no personality at all, it extends to all other characters, all that they had was some background stuff

It still a Goku and Vegeta's situation. Vegeta always wanted to prove that he is not a second best. Even though sometime he already equal to Goku, he still feel the gap cause Goku will always do something to reach higher. The only different between Kung Lao and Vegeta is that Kung Lao treat Liu Kang like his brother while Vegeta is complete dickhead towards Goku. This indeed sound like Ken from SF, but Ken on the other hand doesn't really had the pressure or tension to be the second best. To be fair, no one in SF universe call or roast Ken as the second best, unlike Kung Lao and Vegeta in their respective universe. Look at Kung Lao's MK11 ending and his revenant form fighting God Liu Kang in the end of story mode. The thing about Revenant Kung Lao is like Majin Vegeta, it express all of his hidden jealousy towards Liu Kang. Just like Revenant Liu Kang express his desire to get revenge on Raiden, Revenant Kung Lao desire is to become the Chosen One instead of giving it to Liu Kang from the beginning, something he hope will happen in Kronika's new era.
Mortal Kombat 12 will revolve around Kung Lao redeeming himself as the true champion of Earthrealm
