Muay Thai Documentary 8 Limbs: Life Of A Nak Muay (Part 2)
Episode 2 shows the two Thai's we followed in episode 1, Kru Lucky (trainer & fighter) and Yoduman (13 year old thai fighter)
Kru Lucky & Yoduman were shown in episode 1 preparing for fights.... this episode it's fight time!
We travel to a distant island off the coast of Phuket, to Koh Yao Yai - where Yoduman and Lucky will face two fellow Thai's in what is set to be a great night of outdoor festival fights.

Artist: Job 2 do
Song: Do Do Do
Part 2 was just as good!, thanks for sharing!
what a lucky world they live in where - yoduman wouldnt know what an xbox is. He left school at 11 and was working with the family on a rice farm before asking his family if he could live with Daeng (a trainer here) so he could try muay thai. He enjoyed it and asked to be a fighter.
First song: Job 2 Do - Do-Ther-Tum
this series is amazing thank you so much for making it and sharing with us all.
Outdoor stadium on the beach... electricity was making the lights go dim then bright all night & bugs flying in the ring the whole event. Deff added a 'real' element to the night. Very traditional style
man these guys are tough as hell, I love muay thai it's my favorite martial art to train
internet has been slow due to weather but i hope to get it up within the next day or 2
:) thanks
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai is perhaps the most effective combination when fighting in mixed martial arts! Great documentary! Wish the best of luck to Yoduman is his career. Greetings from Brazil!
This is amazing! Is there a 1st part?
Thank you so much !! :)))
I like that they still respect each other whether it is in the ring or outside the ring.
Great Documentary! Already subscribed with just seeing 2 episodes. Hey guys, can i know the music put on this one? THanks in advance
Great music. Great documentary!
Muay thai ftw. Thanks for uploading and awsome song btw. Peace out
will def look in2 that. thanks
i decided in editing to leave alot of the glare in... made some of the characters stand out more
In Thailand yes.... its a nod to say 'yeah you got me.... but im all good'
well done, was this done with the kit lens?
if you mean the first song, just type 'thai reggae' in youtube. its the first video. This is played everywhere in the touristy areas in thailand
I love how they nod and smile at each other in approval after they get hit with a strike.
watching it again he is not being cocky he nods and smiles to say "im ok" the other guy does the same thing
I'd like to know the music name too. It's sound like thai reggae.
Nice documentary, congrats from Argentina.
just the normal lens that came with the T3i - and a budget microphone.
love how they're having fun even in tough competitions...great job and thanks for the upload!
Could you guys by chance provide a list of all the songs you have used in all parts?? The music is great!
when will part 5 be up?
Nice and awesome
Is it possible to get a list of some of the songs? If it is already posted some where, sorry for double asking. Thanks PTT
Whens pt 3 out :)?
yes..the one in blue...
whats the name of the first song playing??? i remember this from my first trip to thailand, heard it every day but could never get a copy of it!!!!
Yoduman (sorry if i didn't spell that right) will be great. He is so calm in the ring. i love that
i like it. wow!
The song is from a thai reggae band called Job 2 do, songs name is Doo Doo if i'm correct.
doing strength training is also good like heavy weights 1-3 reps with long rest intervals and like 5 sets. the muscles get strong and dense, and if done with proper technique, you can still be flexible.
Kru's fight was very enjoyable
we felt the same and changed it up by the next episode :)
really cool documentary. i just sort of wondered equipment wise it seems as if they have really nice stuff altough being so poor, is it just so much cheaper in thailand with gear or what? and also doesnt it seem kind of strange that i 13 year old boy has a tattoo:)
Congrats to Yodumann! And Congrats to Kru Lucky on his amazingly entertaining fight! I'll see you guys next year for 6 months starting in March!
KRU literally means trainer/teacher of muay thai
Respect
What is the name of the song at the start? Playing for first 2-3 minutes?
Can someone please explain what happened when the guy in the light blue shorts takes theguy in the red shorts down .. at like 12 38 , the crowd erupts .. I'm curious..
Whats the name/artist of the first song in the video, starts around the :50 second mark? thanks.
whats the name of the song in the beginning? :)
thanks a lot|||
i would love to train at PTT!
i was literally screaming at my screen Yoduman! you da man get this kid!
Kru's fight was brutal.
what is the first song ? thnx
is it normal for muay thai fighters to never string combos? makes the match last longer i guess but hard to score a knockout.
Whats the name of the first song?
The kid is hanging around 2 BJJ black belts and a Pro Fighter and coach !!!
Whoah the sun was so bright I confused it with snow.
Song?
cant wait to come thailand in febuary can anyone come train at this team will be over for about a month with a friend :)
damn, thai fighters are head to head while fighting but friends after every round man, good shit they know its nothing personal
Use UV filter, for sunny spots ;)
:O DAYUM i like the music translates as Look look what you did~ why can you do this to me~ why can you do this~ look look what you did~~
Lucky is a great practicioner he just needs the killer instinct go for the kill he is to polite. Great job to Yoduman i hope he becomes a great Champion one day.
Well... I think it is more as a kind of appreciation of the oppenents abilities or not. A nod for good abilities and a throw with the neck is for no good!
Lifting weights is good and should be done when practicing how to fight because it makes your body strong, faster and increases its endurance. The best type of workout you should do is high intensity resistance training (little weight with high reps and little rest). This gives you lean, strong muscle, makes you faster and increases your muscle endurance. DONT bulk up too much. makes you slower, less flexible(so say good bye to head kicks) and you don't need that much strength to ko someone.
0:53 how can he hear his phone?? his cauliflower ear looks like it just blocked off his ear canal
thats their natural stamp. the training thats involved in fighting in this style just shreds you, i can lose up to 2 stone if i am training for a fight
holy shit its weird to see kids from 7 beating the crap out of each orther lol
anyone know the name of the first song?
+25bananasaday
do-ther-thum (Doo-Doo-Doo)
Yes check youtube/ youtube Channel
Doo Doo by job 2 to :)
imagine fighting these kids in elementary school! they throwin lethal elbows
why do we not have more fighters like that in the ufc
the bjj guy is the 4th degree black belt
his smiling might just be that he enjoys it, Manny Pacquiao does the same in the ring and it's not because he's disrespectful but because he likes that the bout has turned into a real fight.
his eyes looed like he wanted to kill the person, and thats where he needs to find himself before fighting. he is a pro but his mind is not in the right place he must find what makes him calm and use it as a weapon. im not a fighter and never will be but thats what i see when i look at this guy fight
Job 2 Do - Do-Ther-Tum (Doo Doo Doo)
ดูเธอทำ : จ๊อบ บรรจบ (Doo-Doo-Doo: Job 2 Do)
the guy in the blue is the nick diaz of muay thai
kru is a teacher.not only say kru in muaythai. we say kru in a school.we say in everywhere
i'm not good english
maybe he'd have won if he had spent less time acting like he wasn't getting hurt
Beautiful sport and beautiful people. Martial arts are about respect, western world fucks it up.
Is it not a little strange that great fighters like this have no guard???
thai boxing
Welter Weight 145 lbs 7cm waist, phuket/ ufc 47
oiiiiiiiii
4:00!!?!?! groin kick?...
omg true and sad :(
is he the cocky dude who always put his hands down after a kick?
fighter in red tried hugging the trainer at the end and he behaved like a total fool :S
How did he act like a fool? He won and he hugged the other competitor. The guy in blue tried playing to the cameras too much. He should not have done that. I respect them both.
so? defend all attacks like if they were real
Steps on the insect at 6.46
Lucky kicked the guy in red after the ref told him to stop
To your question because of the nodding:
It's like when a boxer gets hit and he smiles.
His opponent knows that he hit him( would be strange if wouldn't take notice huh? :P )
but the boxer who got hit smiles.
It's a psychological thing.
As if you would say:
"You threw your best punch, but i'm still standing. You fucked it up, bro" :D
yeah but pretty much 90% of fighters train in muay thai though..
When i was that age, i am playing playstation;(
so spartacus has..Blood and Sand
MUay Thai has...blood and leather blood and wraps blood and Kicks Bloody eight limbs.
Isn't there a problem when children and young teens actually do get hurt in the ring? Since their bodies has not fully developed yet , I understand that it's a great deal with thai culture but still, you shouldnt try to hurt yourself too much before your body are fully grown, anyway awesome fighters
why arent muay thai fighters stronger? I feel like if you added to them the physique of a 400m olympic sprinter (the abs, arms, chest), they'd be alot more potent fighters....right?
3:52 and 4:01 was in the groin...
Kru was just being an asshole during his fight. But he did land some serious kicks to the mid.
lol are u kidding me? But i guess for your legit question ill give u a legit answer. It's more about getting over the initial shock of what a solid punch feels like. Much like getting drunk the first several times, u dont really know what the feeling is like and your kinda just trying to processing it. After awhile getting drunk is just another day at the office.
Lucky should have won!
