    I just turned 18 and want to learn to defend myself and also get the most out of my body. From what he seen so far the fighters aren't very big but they still seem powerful. Am I right in thinking size doesn't matter in this sport?

      Is there any advice plz

    • @authenticmuaythai
      @authenticmuaythai 9 лет назад +10

      Not a problem. Start off with the fundamentals of fitness.
      Walk, Jog, Run. Start off by walking first for 30 minutes everyday for 2 weeks. Then work up to the same amount of time jogging. Then work up to for running the same amount of time. This can take you 6-8 months to get there the correct way. You want to build up not tear down.
      Recovery is the number #1 rule when training. Do everything you can to recover faster. Eat better, drink more water, get real solid peaceful rest. And realy work on your flexiblity. This has a huge effect on your recovery.
      If your not recovering....your not getting better
      Just do basic pull ups, push ups, squats, dips. This is your foundation for success.
      Go at your own pace and be good to yourself.
      Be consistent to get results.
      If you need any help let me know.
      Have fun on your new journey

    i hate the fact that they went to thailand to be trained by poms and yanks
    when i go there to train i only go to traditional thai gyms... there is no point going there if you are not going to learn from the masters

    @2:52 The Female Fighter is asked What she thinks may be her Strong Point..
    She answers confidently that its probably her "Competitiveness and BRAINS" as she gestures by tapping the side of her Head but instead Sticks her Finger in her Eye..
    WTF, really, She cant even touch her Head without missing completely and Poking herself in the fuckin Eye ??

      She might have been nervous in front of the camera. But who cares? Shes out grinding hard with with the male fighters and not complaining. Thats why people who complain about shit get nowhere & people that push on & keep positive achieve things. Full respect to her.
