@@SQLBits Do you guys feel like power BI info could now suffice for a reporting SW, like QBs. I really dislike QBs and am a small contractor, looking for something new. Thoughts?

Hi Bob, The approach to reduce multiple dax measures for every line in P&L report to single measure based on sum (for all the lines) is great. Thanks for the sharing. However, I can see that the sum-based measure you use in presentation (for example "GL amount") is something more complex that (calculate(sum(GL_Sum))). Is there any chance to discover dax part for formulas you use for the named measures? For examle how "operator" column in proforma report table is used in calculation... Could you give any advise on where i Could get more info on dax part of your presentation?

Hi Bob! I have just started to gather information about financial reports. May I ask for the original bi file for further inspection. It would be great. THanks

Hi Bob, your variance analysis is wrong. Actual Expenses > Budget Expenses is negative variance instead of positive variance
