@@weebig but strong for ones bodyweight is kinda what climbing is about. I personally admire Jan Hojer even more but no need to argue that Alex is sooo incredibly inspiring.
I can't get inspiried by this I just ate 6 hotpockets and drank 2 beers if I trained I would be training my food to leave me too early. (note this was at 9:09pm on 8/29/2022) if I don't eat anything I can work I have alot of beer fat sure but under all of that is nothing but muscle. Im 6'8" have arthritis in most of my joints for me to limber up I need to be sober and in a state of mind where my body doesn't ache. Poor Diet is the least of my problems but it would be a start in the eyes of many having said this your name is McdoonaldsManager and judging from that I assume you eat that kind of food so I don't need to tell you what a poor diet is. Also note I stumbled through typing this message more than once for at the time of replying to this I was drunk.
lol during the bench press he reaches failure and needs a spot and the cameraman just stands there and pans down to show him struggling to roll the barbell off his stomach 10:12

His level of mastery over his own body is almost unparalleled. Definitely one of the strongest climbers ever
Possible the strongest at the moment
@@tim8033 The strongest, but not the best.
@@Sebastian-ey7sg Strongest for his bodyweight, have you seen Jan Hojer in person or Jimmy Webb? Yves Gravelle? These are thiccc boys.

Dope video! It worked,I feel like training.
Enfin une vidéo bien montée et qui donne envie ! Il était temps qu'il y est un peu de com. de faîte sur ce grimpeur extraordinaire.
Awesome video. I don’t even climb but you earned a subscriber.

@@kcegr yes exactly, don't interfere with natural selection
Do one of Magnus Midtbo?
You ask for it, you get it. Soon...^^
Anybody know about what there attitude towards lower body training is ? Just as little as possible so no extra weight?
Yeah, Chicken legs for the win
Just enough strength for pistol squats is a rule of thumb ive heard (since semi pistol squats are needed for some routes)
anything more is overkill
Where did you take the bench press scene?
Just watched this instead of going to the gym... Now I feel ashamed
So you usually train 11 minutes?

2:45 looks like he's tied in with a yosemite bowline. Interesting choice.
Thats the second most used climbing knot after the figure eight soo....
@@schmorris are you saying the yosemite bowline is the most used tie-in bowline?
@@rockclimbinghacks9222 yes, but no one call it like that, that knot is probably much older than USA...
what's the start music ?

Only better climbing technique ist the key to (more) progress in our sport! Strong are many climbers! :)
You must have all parts of the game on top level
Both are very important. Most elite climbers can pull off insane feats of body strength.
Dont forget to take your steroids kids
Lol you think he takes steroids
