One thing I really adore about this cover is how they let it trail off at the end with _to live..._ Because as you say, we should live every day as though it could be our last. It _could._

Yep no one is guaranteed anything. It’s a great message and they sang it so well.

Thank you for your emotional reaction 😌 Yes, the voices of children can be very touching and this was! Also a beautiful arrangement and so many great voices. All of that moved me too. I have to admit I have a bit of a hard time hearing children singing lyrics from an adult perspective, but that set aside it is very touching and beautiful. The music itself hits you. And yes, strive to live in the now is a great thing to do even if not always easy. Thanks again!

Thank you for reacting to this. I'm glad that you enjoyed their singing and playing instruments. They have different kids singing and playing instruments in each video.

This type of song, or the message, certainly is more potent when sung by children. The reality is we all are dying a bit everyday, and no one knows our time limit. I really don’t know how to live like death is imminent. Some of us inspire others to become better, some build business empires, some become doctors, professors, etc. A vast number of us just have friends and family, struggling to make a better life against it seems ever increasing odds. So the contributions of some are greater than others, and yet those “others” are so needed to keep the world running. Without the janitor the floor doesn’t get cleaned, regardless of the wealth and power of the CEO. So we each contribute as we can. Well that was a lot from this song, lol. The song reminded me of 5th grade choir, and the enjoyment of really opening up in singing. I lost my mom to cancer and then my father to heart disease, and it took a long time for me to get over the sorrow, in part because I never really said my goodbyes. So I get the emotional response to this song as well. A Buddhist once said we are too programmed in thinking about the past, and should learn the past is gone, the future is not known, and so to live in the present. It struck me with how correct his words were. As you said Bob, brush past the trivial and live to enjoy the moment. Long post, sorry.

Hey Guy! You seem like a very wise and educated man. That stinks about your Mom and Dad and you not getting to say goodbyes. I’m sure they knew how much you loved them and that you appreciated everything they did for you. I think all parents just know that. It goes without saying.

@@bobcieslinski Thanks Bob. You're right, parents know, even if you don't tell them, just like a child should know their parents love them. I read somewhere that part of the issue, at least in the US, with children being a bit rebellious is that from an early age parents and society in general emphasize being independent, and then later, usually in their teens, when kids strive for independence, parents clamp down on them, and thus both sides get irritated. Same with kids in grade school. We ask kids that have growing muscles and bones, and need exercise to nuture them, so sit for hours in a chair within a classroom, and the teacher gets upset when some of the kids start squirming. Kids probably need much more "play" time when they are young. Anyways, off topic again, lol. Looking forward to your next reaction! Have a safe and fun week!

This was wonderful! Could you react to some Depeche Mode? Martin Gore is such an amazing song writer! Useless is their best song. IMO. Thanks for the great videos

Their cover of My Immortal by Evanescence would also be a great one for a reaction video.
