The One Voice Children's Choir does so much good out in this world! I LOVE them!! My son is privileged to be a part of this group. What you see and hear in their videos is who they are back stage too!! Amazing young people with hearts to serve! Masa Fukuda is an amazing director!~ He is so talented and brings out the best in these kids musically and helps them grow as great people! #Awesome!
Full disclosure: I am a One Voice parent, so I love all of the songs. BUT, this one is a new favorite. The ones that touch me the most and make me cry are Good Job and Memories. Dynamite was a blast. Show Yourself is absolutely gorgeous.
There is another Utah group Gentri. There song "Dare" would be a great choice for ovcc. The song is truly life changing.
Their director, Masa Fukuda, is a legit genius. I know that word is overused, but it absolutely applies here. He hears tones and phrases in music that most would never imagine, and he brings them out in his children.
The term I think you're looking for is multi-part harmony. It's often identified by the number of different parts. For instance, in this piece I believe we're hearing minimum six-part harmony. Possibly more. As you can imagine, that's not easy to arrange even for adults -- let alone children. Also, the children he gets in his choir are crazy talented. Like, every last one of them.
This choir has been around awhile, but they only came into international attention after their collaboration with Alex Boye in 2014 on his "Let It Go" video. You should check that one out as well, but look for it on Boye's channel. That video had like 18 million views in its first ten days and the choir has grown steadily ever since. They're phenomenal.
It is actually an 8 part harmony! And you are so right; Masa is a legit genius. He is also the heart of the choir, and the reason my daughter wanted to join. Watching him enjoy every second of directing those kids is pretty inspiring.
They're great!! The requested version of Memories is a have-to reaction, specially for this season!

They have a lot of veriuty. Some are just voices, a few with beat-boxing. For others those in the choir that play instruments or dance do so. For an experience you won't forget watch their cover of "One More Light". It isn't one of their more popular ones but it should be. They sing "See You Again" for the same reason. Think tribute to Chris Walker in the ending credits, that's the "See You Again" song.
I forgot to finish the sentence. The ending credits of Fast and Furious 6?, I forget which one. There are so many.
