I totally agree with having these daily tasks. It’s something we need to do everyday :) I’m getting better at all of this. I used to procrastinate a lot but since having a child I’m wayyyy better

LOVE this way of cleaning. Makes my life so much easier. Fly-lady is to complecated with zones that I can never keep straight
I'm trying to "break up" with Flylady because I am not interested in the religious/political slant.
@@lithiumkat Yea, I like the system (also the Zones) but it is quite complicated to get into, the website is very messy, her vids are messy/rambling, her mails are a heap of spam/similar rambling mess, and there are lots of those especially religious undertones and steriotyping (might also be some political stuff that I don't pick up as I'm in another contry). I had to clean up the baby steps to find any use for them, I like the idea of the rutines and the zones, but that also took some time to dig out of all that mess. Never been able to get through the rambling in the mails or the videos - watching people like Dianne in Denmark was more helpful.
Anyway, always interested in finding other great ideas and systems that might fit with or work better than the ones I have :)
I quit Fly Lady for the same reason. It wasn't that complicated for Mom/Grandma, their daily tasks are precisely why.
Wiping counters and then checking floors is better because the counters usually have crumbs on them

- I like that idea. For me, those spots is probably more around my kitties litter boxes, which I have been doing inconsistantly but nearly daily in the recent times. Think I'll make it more of a rutinely daily habit now :)

Could you share a video in how you keep up with all the schools papers?! I have a 2nd grader and it has been SO hard for me go find a system on how to keep them organized and/or declutter.

Shouldn't counters be prior to floors so floors don't get crummy after being tended?
you don't have to do them in order.
I like doing laundry. I try and do 1 or 2 loads of laundry a day because some days I’m out of the house and unable to do.
I struggle with home keeping SO MUCH. Thank you for this, I need all the help I can get!!

I vacuum daily and glad I do. I changed to a lightweight canister vac, and the amount of stuff that comes up is shocking. This is why Flylady never worked for me - only vacuuming once a week or cleaning the bathroom once a week. No thank you. I can vacuum this whole house in 10 or 15 minutes all the way to the walls, and this cuts down on all the other dirt and chores. Hardly any dusting needed now.

Can you share your cleaning schedule please? I was under the imression that Flaylady cleaning was more than once a week clean. I like to clean areas MORE than just once a week!
@@autumnspring6624 no you have a daily routine and weekly zone over several days and then theirs another section for deep clean on certain months I think. I am new to flylady I just found this channel now too. I feel flylady is complicated it's taken me weeks to figure it out you know
