I’m trying to put a answer carbon dagger 🗡️ fork on a newer integrated head tube but I think this is what I need a bottom race. It’s a 1-1/8 fork and wanted to make sure this dagger fork is installed in a fairly new frame.
Good extra tip, luckily the split is so thin, you won’t ever feel it no matter where the placement, but if you are like us, a tire label where the valve is kind of guy, then yes, full right or full left.
This just saved me a bunch of time troubleshooting some old bearing issues. Thanks Bill 🤘
Glad to help!! Hope you are out riding again!! Keep that wheel up!!
Thanks for the video I didn’t know what the bottom race was for 😅
Scary thing is how many calls we get asking if you need it!!

If you have an Integrated headtube, pick up a Speedline 1 1/8" -1.5" Headset, use the adapter race enclosed and you should be good!

Doesn't the bearing catch a little on the split race?
No, it is a sealed bearing, nothing to catch on
I mean you could have pulled one of the frames off the wall to demostrate :)
If only that wasn't a green stage wall behind me.... no jsut joking, I should of... next time
@@SupercrossBMX. HahAhah we love it
Entendi 👍
Split should be on either right or left side, not facing front or rear. A little carbon lube would be pro.

No more then 3/4 " on the jr/expert fork steer tube !
Don't forget a little carbon grease under race !!
