I love Dimash"s Kazakh songs. Kazakhstan has such a troubled, war-torn history & they are so proud of how their Country has progressed. They have so many different ethnicities who live there now & they have found a way to live peaceably together, respecting each other & are such an example for all of us in the world who live with fear & hatred for any differences in culture around us.
Kazakhs don't forget what their ancestors sacrificed for their homeland.

This performance always breaks my heart.
This is about the suffering of the people of his land under the Russian Dictators when Kazakhstan was part of Russia. The war in 1916 was brutal. Fathers and sons were used to fight in a war Russia was waging. Mostly put on the front lines and given inferior weapons. Finally Kazakhstan was able to gain it's liberation from Russia. They are a great people full of music and art. They're traditions are sacrosanct. Because of Dimash...people have learned about this country and its noble and kind people.

There is so much sadness and pain in here, all the suffering and the desperate hope for a peaceful future - and the prayer for Dimash's country and for the mother earth to last, to survive, against all odds and despite the people.... If im not mistaken the song was written by the the guy thats plaing the piano i cant remember his name right at present but he asked dimash to sing it fir him. He also does avsong called river if live that he performs with dimash. Which there are no word just him on piano n dimash playing the kubuz or whatever its called but the back ground singing is dimash

Thank you for your kind words. I just didn't want you to be disappointed like a fellow reactor has been very recently when he reacted to the New York concert and found how chopped up it was. Although we did try to warn him unfortunately he apparently didn't read his comments section and I actually quit watching his reaction after a bit because he just spent so much time moaning about the awful editing.
Btw, due to the lockdown at the time, Dimash got very hands on with the filming of this MV, doing both directing and camera work and it was great fun seeing him riding ATVs and rowing dinghies across lakes to get all the equipment out to these beautiful remote areas of Kazakhstan.
Of course! I know that concerts can be a bit touchy as is... but dimash just produces top quality music... so it was a pleasure to do this concert! I hope most of the dears come out for it.
