После того как я побывала на сольном концерте в Алмате, в сентябре 2022, я себе дала слово обязательно ещё раз прилететь в Казахстан чтобы побывать именно в тех местах, где снимались клипы Димаша ❤. И сентябре 2023 , на годовщину концерта я побывала на озере Кольсай и в Чарынском каньоне.

marvel at the greatness they have become since 1991.
One of the most powerful images is Dimash being “tempered by fire as steel is tempered in fire. It illuminates his words “difficulties temper, the tempered cannot be broken.” Another sign of hope and rebirth is the song ending on a major chord. With light beginning to come over the mountain. Dimash is truly a genius. He makes his Dears love his country as he does. Thanks for the great reaction!
You're absolutely correct. Fire is used to symbolize rebirth, hope, the end of oppression, like the Phoenix rising from its ashes. I don't know how much of Dimash is in the scripting of his MV's but these past few years, the use of symbolism is ever present and easily detectable if one has some knowledge about these things.
The instrument is a kobyz and this is my very favorite of all of dear Dimash’s videos. Thank you so much for your in-depth reaction to “Qairan Elim”. Your review is totally on point. This is his love song to Kazakhstan and an anthem OF Kazakhstan to the world. Thanks for reading.
BRAZIL - I've been following Dimash since the contest in China (2017) because that's when I discovered him, and I've never regretted it, on the contrary, I've never followed any artist on social media and I love hearing good news about him on Instagram, about his shows, his games and I admit that his patriotism is something beautiful and impressive, his performances about his homeland are worthy of praise, and I say that I have never heard an anthem as beautiful as that of Kazakhstan, the way Dimash sings it is magnificent. I'm a fan for life.
Intelligent reaction and opinion. Indeed, Dimash never ceases to be proud of his country and always wishes for a better world to live in. He is someone whose feelings and opinions are politically inclined. I bet it was not a waste of time when the Kazakh president invited Dimash to join him on his presidential plane from China to Kazakhstan and talked with Dimash in his office. Who knows, one day Dimash may be pushed by circumstances to serve his country by running for public office. By the way, since childhood, Dimash has been a fan of great poets and a lover of literature.

Dimash dedicated this song and video to his land, people in 2020, when his teacher and mentor died of covid and people here in Kazakhstan died in large numbers, so this song is compassion for them. The moment when the pianist falls into the water is just a reference to those tragic events

I know I am late to watching this video but I had to make a few comments. Kazakhstan only became independent of Russian rule ( both Tzars and Soviets) in 1991. Dimash was born in 1994. The Kazakhstan people maintained their language and integrity and their religion even after centuries of domination. I believe that is why Dimash is do fervently proud of his people and Country . There are problems within the Country that blew up in I think 2022. A significant and vocal number rose up demanding reforms. At the time, Dimash encouraged the government to talk with the citizens instead of crushing them thru military intervention . I have said this before-- Dimash is not just seeking fame. He has every right to do that but he is also a true ambassador to the world for his people and a voice for peace.
Dimash's education has included more than voice and music composition. His education has included all forms of performance and theater and film.
Video intro was taken from the motion film with their permission. The following video and song itself was made during the Covid time when thousands of people were dying and when this disaster will be finished was uncertain. The logic of the intro usage was to show that our land survived many disasters and wars and we will pulled through. Dimash made this song/ video as a prayer for his homeland as well as the entire Earth to live through this pandemic.

I'm watching this again and I absolutely love how this ends on a major chord - telling of the hope and the goodness of Kazakhstan and her people have now. What a mesmerizing, inspirational video. I love the lyrics "What is life without trials? Difficulties temper, and the tempered cannot be broken." This is how they make safety glass. It is tempered so that it becomes stronger, more heat resistant, than normal glass. This video is my inspiration to not only endure the difficulties & trials of life, but to allow them to make me stronger, more resistant to discouragement, so I can stand up straight and not crumble. I've seen this one so many times (it's one of my favorites) but every time I see something else.
This time, for example--the emphatic contrast of the plink of something in the lake blending into the beat marking the passage of time, contrasting with the plink of the blood dripping into the cavity in the Kobyz in the repeat of the same theme in the music, again marking the passage of time as it blends into the repeating beat of the music .
It strikes me as a beautiful and symbolic touch--a picture of the land, a serene and life-filled lake, vs the pain and suffering of the Kazakh people, represented by the dripping blood. Then comes an image of sacrifice with fire, refreshed and reborn by the life-bringing renewal of the rainstorm (water has special meaning in an arid country) and the green vista at the end.
A minor detail, perhaps, but very purposeful--it is all of a piece with the meaning of the piece.

Renat Gaissin is the piano player in the MV. Oral Baisinger is a very close family friend, Dimash calls him uncle. His dad's best friend and great musician. I feel your interpretation is correct. The end is about hope and rebirth. Its why the colors become prominent at the end instead of the muted colors throughout the MV.
Yes filmed in his homeland. He is showing from the first that the country has had a challenging history but they are proud of their 30 year achievements since nationhood. They separated from Russia and have been so successful. Very symbolic. His passion for his homeland is inspirational. They have been through bloodshed, fire, rain and thunder but are proud of how they have become strong and progressive. They do not forget their culture..

Салют был ни в честь дня рождения президента, а в честь Дня Столицы. Бывшег президента уже давно никто не празднует! Зачем сочинять и сгущать краски? Для чего? Димаш, действительно, преисполнен состраданием, любовью к Родине. И все! Тогда он сделал большие пожертвования для малообеспеченных в Астане, Актобе и Алматы...

If I were forced to pick only one favourite Dimash song, this might be it. It was the song that drew my heart to Dimash back in the first week that I discovered him. I thought, "This is a person who wants the right things in life."
Please pause more often so that people are encouraged to watch the video on his channel. That is a big part of how he earns a living.
I stopped pausing so much because people complained and said it was disrespectful.
@ThisRoscoe it's not disrespectful at all. He deserves views on his channel. If people watch the whole song on a reaction channel, they often don't watch it on his. You're also going to get blocked. Yoola (a company he has a contract with) will do it if RUclips doesn't. Rather don't take the chance.

Hi @ThisRoscoe, I totally agree with Deecue. Rather be careful and avoid blocks on your videos please. You do have very informative and fun reactions. That's what some viewers also really, really need to learn to understand: IT'S A REACTION to the performance and artist. Pausing and talking is part of it and there is no disrespect in that at all. What is disrespectful is when viewers want to listen to Dimash uninterrupted on every reaction channel, (and then complain about you/other reactors reacting and explaining things) but for reasons unknown to man, don't support Dimash on his own channel. Where, of course they can watch uninterrupted. You're doing yourself, Dears who want to learn more and Dimash a huge favour by pausing whenever you feel you should.

Kazakhstan is one of the last republics of the former Soviet Union and has a recent history of independence marked by struggles and its martyrs (represented in music by fire, spilled blood, the death of the pianist and the transition between fire and rebirth)!
This song even made it into MTV Friday Night charts for several weeks! This is proof that the general audience is not only into superficial mainstream. You just need to give it a chance and positive reactions on YT definitely are a great help.

Thank you. I don't believe that the beginning voice is Dimash. I think that it is Turkish and I don't have the translation although I've seen them. Yes, this is all filmed in Kazakhstan. This is so wonderful and meaningful to Dimash. I love the change to major at the very end to give us hope. The Kobyz is spectacular. I believe that it is the oldest stringed instrument. Amazing direction from Dimash. And of course, his singing!

Thank you! Yes, these are all filmed in the area around Almaty. I visited some of these when I went to visit Kazakhstan on the occasion of the Nur-Sultan (2019) and the Almaty (2022) concerts. It’s such a beautiful country. My advice if you’re planning to go and hike or ride, do take horseback riding lessons first.

Thanks for the great and attentive reaction! I loved your interpretations. This song was created during the pandemic, when many people died in Kazakhstan. Dimash also lost people, including his composition teacher. Qairan Elim is the result of a close collaboration between composer Renat Gaissin (pianist in the video) and Dimash.
Dimash News tells more about the origin of the song: Renat Gaissin had read obituaries in the newspaper, and out of anxiety, the tune was born. While he was playing the melody on the studio piano, Dimash happened to hear it. He immediately announced that he wanted to sing it. They then decided to make a video for the song as well. The video is really made with thought, a real masterpiece.
Qairan Elim is a prayer for one's own country, but also for the wider world. A very spiritual song. Kobyz as a shamanistic instrument fits this song really well. Together with Dimash's soft breathy tones, the effect is hypnotic. For me, this song always causes strong emotions. It works like therapy. This might even be my favorite song (although there are many).

Kazakhstan was formerly part of U.S.S.R until a very recent December 16, 1991 - Kazakhstan's Independence Day. This wasn't way back in history. And, on a Story of One Sky, Dimash wrote the music and story, starred in it, and directed it. Someone else wrote the words to the song though.
