  • Too often Alzheimer's disease is associated with older adults, but the truth is, Alzheimer's also affects younger adults; this is referred to as Younger-Onset Alzheimer's (when symptoms are evident before age 65). Here's the story of the Hunter family. Chris, the father and husband, was diagnosed at age 46. Today, at 50, he is a resident at a memory care community and requires 24/7 care.

It’s refreshing to see such a loyal and loving wife. My wife left me when I became ill.

I'm so soo very sorry. That's heartbreaking to hear she could be so cold. She'll find that karma hits back ten fold, eventually. I hope your doing better.

Aquious, my wife, like yours, left me when I started showing signs aging. She said of herself, "Who will take care of me"?
I am so sorry that your wife was selfish as was my wife. Blessings.

Wow...not sure if I am that strong. We do not suffer gladly or blindly...and we are never ready for goodbye. Life does not understand the pain of the heart and it only moves forward. I hope you and the kids have moved forward.

Genuine talk... perfect narrative. Thank you for being as you are, Dear Debbie! Beautiful soul.
You're completely right! It is a relief that patients don't realize about their declining... but the due attention must be paid to their 24/7 suffering Families! Not only emotional suffering but a social and even physical ( at least tiresome... ) family constraint... HEALTH means emotional, physical and social well-being! Family disease, this one is.
    Thank you So Much!

      A. Maria Pereira Cordeiro Not to mention financial. U can save all ur life. Work, and have best health insurance available, just to find out any decent homes , or in home care nurses will cost hundreds of thousands of dollars out of pocket. Her family lost everything. 3 kids lose their dad, home, any sense of stability. Life is so UNFAIR

There is a very real need for socialized medicine in the U.S.
Too many families lose their homes and livelihood due to the high health cost...

Debbie, oh what a strong and beautiful person you are to have endured this tragedy with such beauty and grace. Your example is surely a blessing to your children.
In sharing the spirit of awareness of dementia, and especially early onset type, I’d like to share that my friend of nearly 20 years is a renown oncologist, internist and pharmacologist. As of 2018, Dr. Atiba is successfully treating Alzheimer’s patients with a combination of now generic medications, and has “reversed” the symptoms of six patients as of January 2019. To be precise, patients eat again, feed themselves again, regain their cognitive and conversational skills, dress themselvesd, regain safety awareness, know to reposition themselves while in bed (to avoid bed sores) etc. The results have been truly miraculous.
Josh is currently treating patients WITHOUT CHARGE as part of his study intended to prove and document his treatment regimen. “Without charge” as in no money required AT ALL to be evaluated AND treated. I’m not sure if that will be true over the years to come, but the important thing is that you’ll long have proven responsiveness to the medication without cost for the treating physician.
The three medicines in their current form cost around $500 a month after being discounted, and have to be taken consistently for the remaining lifetime. Once doctor Atiba’s patented combination pill is manufactured later in 2019, he estimates the cost will be $10 a day, or $300 per month. His goal is to free as many people as possible from the mental shackles of Alzheimer’s disease.
He does not charge for evaluating / meeting and treating patients at this time during the proof of treatment phase. Again, the only cost is for the medication, which is paid to the pharmacy of your choice, NOT to Dr. Atiba. So this isn’t some scam.
The happiest part of this information is that significant improvement can be expected in about one week. Like all other diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, etc., the medication will be needed for the reminder of the individual’s life.
In the meantime, Dr. Atiba has commissioned a drug company to manufacture the combined medicines into one pill at great personal investment. He further has investors helping to manufacture and distribute this new medicine. It appears that Dr. Atiba has accomplished what pharmaceutical companies have tried to do for 50 years.
As he is California certified in all his disciplines, he sees patients in Southern and Northern California, specifically the Rancho Mirage and Monterey areas.
Anyone who has a loved one suffering with dementia, to include Alzheimer’s should consider meeting with Dr. Atiba and being part of this impressive treatment regimen. Please call me if you would like to learn more about this groundbreaking treatment or arrange a free evaluation with Dr. Atiba. (I hate how that sounds like commercial jargon). I’m prepared to answer any and all questions that you’ll understandably have about Dr. Atiba, me and the treatment regimen.
God bless you and yours, and never give up!

Thank the LORD GOD: That this flesh life is but a short visit. When we enter into the strait gate. Luke. 13:24. Strive to enter in at the strait gate: For many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (King James Version.)
