So sad to hear what he went through, so sad. What a nice guy and what a great drummer. Rob dukes Exodus days were the elite. Im 45 and just lost my mother to cancer, i know what he and his family are going through.
I went to Tom's house for Exodus practice, back in the Day, when Jeff Andrews was in the band. He's always been the coolest, nicest guy.

Greatest thrash drummer ever
Great Interview Rob. When you and Tom were talking about old time recording and brought up recording I was very excited. Another one of those old time, no overdub geniuses, was Carl Stalling. He did the early Warner Brothers cartoons, like Bugs Bunny and Chip and Dale, etc. There's a CD called, "The Carl Stalling project". You can see how tight they were. Carl was kind of a tyrant, but you could also se the level of perfection he got out of those great musicians. Best of luck for Tom. I wish him many more happy and healthy years.
Rob, love to hear these interviews cuz as a 35 year + fan of Metal, you never really get these types of personal type deep dives. The 2 I seen were pretty good with Rick Hunolt & now with Tom. Never really heard much from them so it’s nice to hear them talk.

Rob! Thank you so much for doing all of these. I finally am catching up with them. I always wanted to know about what was going on during Rick's exit and when Tom left while you were in it. I appreciate the sharing from you, Tom, and Rick. I just saw Exodus here in Raleigh, NC with the Bay Strike's Back tour. It was so amazing! Even then I was still thinking of you and Rick, wishing you guys were there as well and hoping you all were doing alright. It was such a fun night. Seeing Tom play was an amazing experience for me being a drummer. Hope you're well and thanks again man for doing these podcasts! You fucking rock!

Hey Rob another class interview with the legend Hunting, you guys are genuine human beings just glad Tom is recovering and I'll see him at Bloodstock (UK) in August. Be fuckin class if GK get a slot there aswell it's a class setup man.

Well goddamn, that was a kick in the ass. Thanks for being yourself, and thaks to Tom for the stories from his perspective. I'm only a year or two younger than Tom and seems like we grew up in a similar way - musical house full of discovery. Long live both of you, and long live kick-in-the-face METAL!

This was a great interview,and I can’t thank Tom enough for telling his story. I’ve been having stomach issues for the past few years. I had a colonoscopy at 39 cuz of issues I’ve had. And like Tom said I’ve taken the Prilosec too,and after hearing this makes me wanna go “get the scope” as he said. Truth is I don’t wanna in fear if they find anything. This really hit home today. Thanks Rob for doing this,and I’ve had a bigger appreciation of you & your time with Exodus ever since you did that interview w/Zetro on his podcast. Happy New Year to you & your wife!
I know it's none of my business and obviously do whatever you want but if I were you I'd get it looked at. Like you I've had stomach and gastrointestinal issues over the years. I've had my gall bladder and about a foot of intestines removed. Funny you mention 39. When I was 39 a hernia I had ruptured which left me with an ileostomy. Thankfully they later reversed the surgery and I no longer have a stoma and I'm back to "normal". One thing having health issues over the years has taught me is don't wait to get things checked out. Just some friendly advice from one Exodus fan to another 🤘
