both the onkyo and pastel and kern start at around the £500 mark im not really sure that is budget and Ive had the pioneer one it was fine for a couple of years (although pitiful battery life) and then after 2 years just kept freezing up all the time, tried factory reseting android reseting but would just freeze up again I would definitely NOT recommend this, Pioneers response is send it too our repair factory in Germany and top of the list of things you cannot send to Germany under any circumstances is lithium batteries regardless whether they are in a device or not.

@@User_Unknown_Try_Again really? did you know that audio quality varies by kilabits per second, not by the device? in my case, with tags on each song and album along with artwork, my music takes up about 60/128 gigabytes, planning on getting a ipod classic 7.5 logic board as my original 2007 model logic board for my ipod cant be expanded past 128gb of capacity, due to a lack of memory, itunes limits it so you dont have ur ippd crashing and then their customers saying you broke my ipod this is false advertising and shit like that, my ipod, as it is also a september 2007 logic board in it, with a max firmware of 1.1.2, has the remaining bug where after a few hundred songs the thing will skip songs on shuffle or while playing on albums, it will skip a few songs before it decides to play one, weird but fixable, also no support for click remote apple introduced later on, but the 7.5 logic board will allow a max firmware of 2.0.2 or something like that which is the latest firmware, this is my plan and i want it done, my ipod has also got the iflash solo sd card adapter in it, a thick back housing (planning on getting a 2000mah battery installed as well) and finally a sd card size of whatever i of course desire for media, such as photos, videos, movies, and of course MUSIC, cheers :-)

I still have my Creative Zen Vision: M, but I lost the charger lol. I'm trying to find a replacement charger for it and in the mean time checking to see if I want a "new" mp3 player, but....the Vision: M, even though it's over 10 years old, is a beast and I would still be happy with it.
