Twentieth comment from ELA Bros again. Found google translation for my ITALIAN WORDS is not correct. "FIGLIA" = daughter. "MIA" =my. MY DAUGHTER (It's the ITALIAN way of expressing simpathy to a female of the second generation) "DIO" = God. "TI" =you. "BENADICA" = bless. "DIO TI BENADICA" is "GOD BLESS YOU" Now it's OK. THANK YOU:

Angampora is the most important martial art in chola kingdom as well as pandian and chera kingdom angambora the word comes from Tamil word akkapor which means the direct fight between the two person's or some more persons! This is the fight which was the traditional family treasure of agamudayar community! They are not average soldiers they are totally responsible for Royal family's safety as well as they are also very close relatives to that Tamil Kings family! Mostly they never involved in regular war! They are More cabable than traditional war so they step in to the feild in most important situation otherwise they gave security to mainly Royal family and ministers family Temple brahmin family's important vasiya peoples family also!
Angampora means akkapor which means direct fight between two or some more person's this is the special fight learned and conducted by a Royal lineage soldier's for to save Royal family's life and wealth! Particularly one community people's tradition is this so that that community called agamudayar community or agambadiyar community in tamil nadu the greatest chola king raja raja chola devar was also from that agamudayar community! singale people have very close contact with Tamil Kings it's Nice to see a Tamil maritial art in sree lankan people's tradition! Well-done!👍

This is very interesting. My Family are Sri Lankan Tamil. My Dad's side are from Trincomalee. My Grandfather's (Appapa) Title was Udaiyar. My Dad's older Brother looked into our Family history and it fits with what you have written. I was born in the UK and had Military training and did a few Martial Arts when i was younger. I've been doing Security for the last 20 years. It looks like it's in my blood. 🙂
