I love how this gameplay is perfect illustration of "omnirole fighter" literally controlling the AASM while shooting MICA's and stuff. Very interesting gameplay
This thing is so busted. 😂 spawning in high tier cas with guided ordinance needs to be increased and more nations need better SPAAS. These new planes are cracked.
most of those hardpoints can't mount air to ground weapons, especially the wingtip ones, but you also have the one used by the targeting pod (necessary to identify and designate the target) and since the rafale is almost always outfitted with at least 2 fuel pods in mission that's why hardpoints that house the fuel pods in the wings can't mount weapons either
@@ganeshaputra2646 I know which kinda defeats the point of being omnirole. At least the inner wind hardpoints should be able to carry ground ordnance as the center line could take a fuel tank. Main reason is that they never had missions near frontlines so there is always the need for more fuel
@@nicolaspeigne1429 That's what's weird about it. Eurofighter has similar internal range as Rafale yet has more hardpoints for air to ground. Even without the outer wing/wing tip mounts and TGP you still have 9 hardpoints that in theory could carry medium weight
@@Unl3ashed20 well in theory the Rafale have at least 6 hardpoints that can be used for medium weights. But the reality of the use in service is different, especially since France doesn't have the same geographical and geopolitocal situation than the countries using the EF, and ground strikes often involve ranges greater than the internal capacity of the Rafale.

It's a shame it only gets 3 hardpoints for air to ground... There is 14 (I think) total hardpoints so why can it only use 3?
most of those hardpoints can't mount air to ground weapons, especially the wingtip ones, but you also have the one used by the targeting pod (necessary to identify and designate the target) and since the rafale is almost always outfitted with at least 2 fuel pods in mission that's why hardpoints that house the fuel pods in the wings can't mount weapons either
Not every hardpoints meant to be use for ground ordinance, you can look it up on Google of the rafale hardpoints layout
