Have played with this marker for a year now. I take good care of it. Cleaned every week. Play every Sunday. No need to mess with any settings at all. Plays amazing right out of the box. Never chopped a ball. Adjusted velocity once (increased a tad) never had to touch it again. Just reliable. Would 100% recommend. Plays through rain, mud and high temps (Florida).
These markers are SO good. First run 2018 M3s, original orings, original (un-torn) grips, I can shoot evil ultra in cold weather, and I've put 38k cycles on it without a hiccup.
Just in case anyone is ever in a pinch, you can use the older dm style eye pipes in the m3. I happened to have replaced a cracked eye pipe in one of my Dye markers and another player lost his eye pipe during a tournament. I dug through my gear and fitted his m2 with the cracked eye pipe from my dm9 (he said his gun shot just as well as it has since he owned it even with that cracked old dm eye pipe). He had no weird accuracy or any noticeable inconsistency in velocity as far as he could tell. I have yet to try putting an m3 pipe in my dm15 or dm9 yet but I planned on it to try and improve the durability.

Hi I just got my M3+ today and its super awesome but I've been trying to add my own custom boot image, I followed all the steps to the tee and nothing I've done has worked, it says there's no data on the usb even though when I plug it in I see the files on my computer. I've looked online and I cant find anymore help with my problem.
Only complaint about this gun…this “joystick” is absolutely dreadful. Not only does it hurt the thumb, but it is not very responsive. Out of all the things a person could complain about, I realize this is small. But I REALLY wish this was easier to maneuver. I actually have smaller/thinner fingers…can’t imagine operating this with large hands. 😳
I'd honestly take grips with with screws anyday over these ones. My two biggest complaints about my m3+ are: Tooless grips How fast the joystick panel wears. Seriously, just after one day and it looks like crap.

what is the recommended PSI that goes into the M3+?
What is best tank output pressure to run with this marker?
I miss the real Dye Matrix. Sure having an LPR makes the gun a little more complicated, but it makes the marker shoot nicer.

Most markers bords bleed batteries just pull battery on non use they aren't set up like phone to not use power when not in use

Be prepared to buy UL grips often lol they rip easily... other than that, shoots butter
